Any Techs out there that can recommend a tire chuck that will get to the inner dual on a 2011 F350 Cab and chassis truck?
at my day job we have this truck and it is near impossible to get on the inner dual Tire Schrader valve, due to the small opening in the rim you cannot get the standard dual tire chuck at the right angle.

TIA,

Jason

My local tire shop hates those things and refuses to sell or install them.

The owner said almost every time he gets a call to help some tourist with an RV, the inner dual is flat because those valve stem extenders leak.

He convinced me to not get a set for my F450.

seber, we have a dual tire chuck but you cannot get the proper angle on it due to the small openings in the rims.

I put a small bend in mine, using the 1/4" bender...both the gauge and the chuck....

These are both "dual foot" with about a 4" stem...

At a guess?? 15 or 20 degrees?

I use a straight chuck with a 3 foot hose and ball valve with a pressure gauge and able to add air to Ram duallies but a bigger opening would make it much easier. Once I'm hooked, I don't release it until the pressure is right. My dad has a 30 foot flat bed and it's a pain. After about 5 minutes of holding your tounge right, I can check air. The holes are small and the valve stems are short. It's a terrible design.

Thanks,
I will look into this also and see if it will work.

Another vote for the straight chuck with the acute angle. That lets you pull the chuck. Works on my Transit dually, and the F350 and F450 duallies.

The round head chucks are useless for that inner wheel.

I don't know what your set up looks like on your Ford, but this Milton 577A worked on my 2016 Duramax dually with stock steel wheels and no valve stem extensions. It's available also in a digital gauge. I'm the only one that uses it so it may be a little fragile for general shop use and abuse.

Thank you for all of your recommendations, Going to first Try a Straight Dual Air Chuck and if that does not work well I will go the extension route.
