Outlander, you are not alone, i think it is going to be another couple of weeks yet before the garage/yard sales start at least in my area anyway.
Under the forearm is a part of the recoil mechanism that gets loaded up with powder residue and what not. It can rust in place, so keep it cleaned and lubed (I've had to unlock a buddy's 14 twice now..)
Gortons,
It's not uncommon to find cheap socket sets holding nice ratchets. I've picked up SK, SO, Craftsman RHFT, and many others this way!
If anyone can identify the adapter piece in the bottom right corner, I'd appreciate it. I believe it to be a part to a Craftsman power tool.![]()
Found this cute little Matco AR5N hiding in an old Buffalo set that I picked up 50 cents. Didn't realize the hidden gem until I got home.

Craftsman oil can was .50c
Bolt/screw gauge was .50c
Unopened can of spray foam was also .50c (it still has the $7.99 price tag on it)

I'll give you a you **** on the oil can, those are really handy without having to invert the can.
Could that be one of those hold down clamps for a table saw crosscut sled? They had a thing that screwed onto the handle and had a bolt like thing that went to the board to hold it tight.

I picked this up while on my Sun. AM Gas fill run:
This will become my shop sink once I get that corner cleared and re-orged. $7, never been installed. ($78 Home Despot tag on it..)

Good Lord ! He even finds the kitchen sink !![]()

2 toolbox weekend.
Friday I got an early 40s gerstner. egay.
sat morning I grabbed a Blackhawk/mac box off CL(30 mins away).
gerstner fair price-$330. Blackhawk good price-$200.
I like that Blackhawk, don't you have a matching roller to go with it?
