HELP ! I broke my wallet and it won't open up !
I woke up early to get a low number at my first sale today, With #5 I got in with the first wave and rushed the workshop as soon as I cleared the door.
The next two sales were a waste of time. One advertised itself as "
a contractor's blow-out".
NOT ! The best tool on the tables was from Harbor Freight. Everything else came from a dime store bargain bin and was busted.
The first sale was run by a guy that starts the prices near retail on the first day, and won't budge unless you're buying bulk. And then he won't move off the prices by much. (He also owns an auction house) There was a Craftsman 150 DP that was
really clean, it was still shiny. He wanted $250, firm. Other prices were just as bad.
Still, I ended up spending a lot of money there.

At this point I was ready to check out but there was only 1 guy setting prices, so I had to wait 45min for him to get to me. He looked at my pile and wanted $75
LET THE DICKERING COMMENCE !!!!!
He says - $75
I say - throw in the other motor and the vise and I'll go up to $100.
He says - Now it's $150
I say - $110
He says - $125
I say - $120
DONE

(yea, I know it's still high. but this guy NEVER lowers his prices on the first day of a 3-day sale)
The original price on the vise was $48. So, the 2nd motor ended up being free.
