HF has the worst BF deals. Most of their stuff is a few % different than normal so its not even worth going there.

Wow, I thought they mark the 44 down to what it was last Black Friday. Prices seem to be like normal sales flyer.

Not BF specific, but HD's holiday Milwaukee deal changed (for the worse) this year. No $150/$200 off this time around.

I will only update the main post with link to actual ads.

I was waiting to buy mine at the 349.99 sale price they always have during BF since I just sold an old craftsman 3 tier box that was talking up to much real-estate and I wanted a box to go under my bench. Got a coupon mag in the mail yesterday and it was listed for $359.99 so I went down and grabbed one today, figured waiting for Black Friday and dealing with the crowds over $10 was really splitting hairs. Happy I went

I was going to buy 2 last year but garage wasn’t just ready and figured by time BF came around I would ready. I got 2 44s at $333 on a BF sale 3 day sale. I went after work and avoided the crowds. They had 4 in stockroom. I hear you that sometimes going through hoops to save $10 just isn’t worth it.

For what it's worth, one of the local Home Depot workers told me they're having a series of "rolling" tool sales this year beginning in early November. I think they've done this in the past but he suggested there will be a greater variety of tools on sale this year.

MY local HD does not appear to be ramping up much in the way of holiday prom stuff like always, usually by this time they have pallets staged out in the lumber area roped off waiting to come inside and be put out, not so much this year, Milwaukee promo list above is nothing special, IMHO.

Go back in tonight / tomorrow. The HD's I went in were both putting things out. Several of the items prices don't kick in until 10/30, so they were probably waiting to put it out as close as possible until then.

Sort of related to a post in here, but if you are in the Phoenix area, there is a guy who sells Dewalt, Makita, and Milwaukee brand tools, all brand new, for way cheaper than I have seen anywhere else. He has a hook up from a previous career, and gets this stuff by the pallet loads. A lot of it is overstock stuff, some of it is returns that aren't defective. He literally fills his house with these tools. I saw his ad on craigslist, and was like, this is a joke. I brought an extra mag for my M&P, just in case. I go to the address, and it's a house. He opens the door, and as soon as you walk in, power tools and accessories everywhere. He had them all over the inside of the house. It was crazy. I bought my Dewalt 20V drill driver and impact guns, with a battery charger, and 2 3.0 batteries and a tool bag, for $200 from him. I paid for the upgraded batteries from him, as the 3.0's aren't what comes with the set usually. I think the 1.0's are. The 3.0's last longer, and have the button on the back you can press to check the battery life. The batteries alone sell for about $75 a piece, sometimes a little more, brand new. So, this is by far the greatest deal I know of out there. I have abused these more than any other tool I own, and they work exactly the same as the day I bought them.
Sorry, I know it's a little off topic.

As far as black friday goes, I am very rarely excited by black friday deals in reference to tools. Most of the stuff I see, although I would like to have that type of tool, is for Chinese made garbage, and I'd rather not spend my money on that.

I agree. They have the same sales throughout the year. Black Friday, Labor Day Sale, Memorial Day Sale, Easter Day Sale, 4th of July Sale, Columbus Day Sale, etc. They may have the 25% off coupon these times too. Not really worth fighting the crowds on these days though IMO.

It's all the same. Marketing tactics, much like Kohl's, that feed off the ill informed consumer. They see the % off and run with it.

Anything brought out on a pallet in mass quantities is bound to be a great deal too right? :lol_hitti

I've BF shopped before. Not really my thing. The crowds give me too much anxiety.

I went yesterday, other than a lot of big husky and milwaukee tool boxes staged out in the lumber area and some ladders, I see the lil milwaukee display mentioned up above, but again, I do not see anything staged like in the past, HD cutting back? they DO have a massive xmas section though. YMMV

Swung by my local Homee Depot on the way home from the monthly automotive swap meet. It's like Holloween is over, BAAM!!! it's Christmas time.
Not only did they have a section full of artificial trees, lights, and decorations, they also had most if not all of the Christmas tool deals out. There were the usual flashlights, ryobi stuff, Milwaukee, Husky stuff (wrenches, ratcheting wrenches, screwdriver & pliers sets, etc. They also had a few tool carts from Husky on display.
I snagged an M12 Fuel impact driver, with a battery and charger contained in one of those new PACKOUT boxes for $99.00 and knocked $9.90 off of that with the veteran discount they offer. Seemed like a winner-winner chicken dinner to me.

consider yourself lucky. here the christmas stuff has been filling the "seasonal" aisle since about the 15th of October. the mowers were replaced with snow throwers and such too. . . . .

to stop this madness, we obviously need to commercialize thanksgiving . . . . .

Saw that too! And they’re sneaky about the 155 ~ pc tool set for $99, but my HD had the Husky tool chests out too... they need to blow out their wares stat:shocking:

updated OP. i see the merits for individual posts, but prefer an aggregated one as once BF is over, I don't want to see 25+ threads on BF ads.

Sears ad.
Edit already posted on separate thread.

I'd say post all the ads in this thread. I will update the OP with them. Personally, I'd rather not see 20+ BF ad threads. after BF, they just clutter the forum
