Update: went back in to scoop one up, rang up a penny. Cashier couldn't find anyone to ask, so she gave it to me for free! Guess it's better to write it off than sell for a penny

Holy ****! I'd probably pay $99 if i could find one. I've been waiting for an extension ladder deal for a while and haven't seen anything.

I've never seen the 250lb ladders at my store like that, and I've searched all over for a while... You guys are lucky...
Anyhow, found some good deals on various things. Including some quad T8 tandem light fixtures for only $11.03 (I bought several last year at full price around $42 each!)...
They were also clearancing out a TON of 4' T8 and some T12 bulbs in the big 30 packs. But the price was higher than what I paid a few weeks ago.
I asked a guy there that was helping me with the fixtures and what happened was the lights did the normal price drop from corporate and eventually fell out of the system. But then they marked over all the UPCs and did the "This item only" STORE clearance tags that start the markdown cycle all over again. Right now they are at the 6 pricing, I'm sure eventually they will go 3... Since they don't return them to the vendor, and they can't toss them in the trash (mercury), they have to just keep going on the clearance cycle over and over I guess...
He also said they (store employees) can't buy clearance items until like after 48hrs of it being marked down.
Anyhow, lots of good stuff in lighting marked down, YMMV of course... These are just a couple things I snapped pics of. Besides the accessory stand, they also had some tv wall mounts marked down pretty low.

I was at my local HD today and noticed all over the store they had those 46" with the wood tops for $298... Just looked online and it said 16 in stock! Very odd as usually they have maybe 4 or 5??? Don't know if a price drop is coming soon to compete with HF or they are just building inventory in anticipation for labor day?

Can you elaborate a touch on this for me? My stores never clearance anything it seems.
I'm not sure receipts quality as an ad, but essentially like Discover has price protection which allows you up to 90 days to contest a price if it gets cheaper for something you bought. Usually they say ads in the paper as proof or similar, so I don't actually know if someone else's receipt would work.

Yesterday the Dewalt showed that price at local stores online but last night it went back to normal price. Haven't had a chance to check at the stores.

anyone seen the Dremel 4200 in clearance, there are 6 in my local store in clearance for $99, regular price online is $119... shows its not sold on stores

How did you look that up? I type in the listed sku and nothing comes up
Dewalt Flexvolt Circular Saw shows $89.00 in store as NLP (new lower price) and on PCA, however, it ringed up normal price when I tried today. Apparently, it obviously was a glitch/price mistake and there have been e-mails sent to stores about it. The manager let me have 1 at $89.00. Get it while you can.

Home depot sells their clearance to local liquidators. Here in phoenix there's a liquidation store I go to that has a ton of Costco, home depot, target stuff. The prices are about 30-50% off, although sometimes you find stuff 70% off like Costco clothes. For the most part Lowe's doesnt do that which is why you find better deals there.

Checked my HD yesterday, PCA was showing regular price on all the Flexvolt things, except I think the table saw was reduced (I think $399 like above). 
I keep forgetting I need to switch stores in PCA to the other one that's farther away... They usually have more clearance stuff...

Showed $199 in the local HD. I'll keep an eye on it though.
Was normal price around the other stores here except that one.
