Found one of the 3.5 chest freezers for $50.08.

The appliance lady was RIDICULOUSLY helpful and put all my info in their system and then walked me up front and somehow worked some promo of 20% off all clearance appliances so I paid $43.12 after tax. Crazy.

I know the ******** guys are waiting for this to hit .04 but I'm happy with what I paid.

Incidentally, the boxes (and this is REALLY gonna twist off the "hey take that picture down!" crowd) are plain cardboard as shown. I kept looking in the rafters for the orange/white Magic Chef boxes.

My box had some damage but the asst mgr pulled it down for me and cut the entire thing open so we could verify zero damage to the freezer itself.

I wish I drove a Ridgeline (sigh). Threw in two 10' sticks of 8"x3/16" flat bar after this.

NOTE the freezer SKU is right at the bottom of the box so don't ask. But it's been posted in this thread before.

wow, that is an interesting idea. i bought a new miller MIG this summer, and it is too wide for the cheap *** cart i was using . . . . . of course, i'll need to figure out how to deal with the bottle. . . . . .

need to wait for them to drop down below 100$ first (because you know it will happen, all the stores are sold out of the tops, but have a bunch of the bottoms.

My store had 4 of them probably about a month ago, but they were only marked down to ~$75 each, I was trying to wait for them to hit $50 or less but they sold within two days...

For a regular price of $150 that's a heck of a deal. I live alone so I don't need a ton of freezer space... A little beer fridge in the garage wouldn't hurt though.

I did the same thing and bought it at 50.08...not sure if its going to follow the .04/.02 schedule as i havent seen one at .08 before...didnt get the 20% off though good score...

My buddy bought 2. The lady scanned then and said they were a penny , so he said I'll take them !! I couldn't believe it. I bought the 14" wide tube when it was at .06 level. I think it was 45 bucks at the beginning of January. I guess I could return re-buy, but not sure how that would go with them being at penny status.

That's the thing, even not at a penny level. I'm always nervous some over-zealous employee will say they're not going to re-sell it to me at the lower price.

I know some people have luck just walking in with their receipt and not even bringing the product into the store, but most of the employees I've come across are very confused without an actual, physical product to scan. They just can't conceptualize it.

As such I've only done return/rebuy when there's still a product in the store. Then I buy it, dig up my old receipt where I paid more and walk the product I just purchased over to returns.

I'm just paranoid I know.

I just bought some hard drives at Walmart that were $40 at some stores on clearance, others they were $15. When I went to the $15 store, I waited until the manager walked away. I told them I found my gift cards I wanted to use, which was half true. Of course on the it gave the girl some error when she returned them and needed the mgr anyway. I told her I'd go back to electronics to rebuy just in case they had more, but she said she HAD to scan them, because they did inventory every hour on returns. So she scans them, and of course were confused by the price difference, but luckily didn't put up a stink. thank heavens, as i drove through some of the worst snow I have ever, then I left the system like i was in a totally different climate. looked like wizard of oz behind me.

Something is up with the system as I made my rounds today at all local stores and know that the items that are showing zero are actually in stock with plenty on hand at the other stores.

I have not noticed what you're talking about. I have only one store that is local the rest are too far to drive just to look for a bargain. THe MET team in the stores aroung me keep the stock very current.

Those things and the retractable ones have been those low clearance prices since the summer, every store that has inventory will be at reg price, the ones with the clearance price will be out of stock.

No they were clearance at .03 at the store with 20+, as well as the stores where I was using the computers. I've been doing this for roughly 4 years so know that counts aren't always accurate but as of about 2 weeks ago the inventory systems are all screwed up around me. Not just the one store vs others but all of the stores don't cross reference the clearance items correctly anymore. Might just be a glitch...not sure what it would be. I don't rely on the system since my stores are all within about 5-15 min drive from me (and each other) so hitting them all on certain days isn't bad. Just giving people a heads up in case they are running into something similar now. Always check stores instead of trusting computers (was always the case with limited quantities, but now larger quantities are showing zero).

North Versailles, PA store has a decent selecfion of Milwaukee m18 tools on clearance. M18 3/8 impact for $80 and m18 hackzall for $50 where the best to me. I picked up the hackzall and they had a few more. Had a few Makita drill/impact kits, DeWalt kits as well.

Are there any programs that record what you are browsing, in individual screenshots? the history tool is fairly worthless when you need to see what YOU actually saw. i find myself taking way to many screenshots due to e-commerce errors.

edit: i was browsing on a laptop elsewhere when I was looking at the chests. doubt it is still up, but I will check tomorrow. sorry if i get your hopes up
