I'm betting that there's a greater than 50% chance that it will still scan. Sharpies don't do that great of a job in making a barcode un-scannable.

But a cashier more than likely will be, WTF and call for a manager. The other two boxes had a white sticker price tag over them for the combo price.

all it takes is one vertical line to screw with the barcode for it not to scan. just bought weed killer that wouldn't scan because it was sharpied.

probably is one that ends in 1, but they want to sell it with a top.

My PCA is not working, I guess the deal hunt is over. Asked manager and they said they are restricting access to public due to too many complaints.Told me to use HD.com

Probably complaints from employees... The normal menu says "Public Access"... But I can understand that if on the weekend some idiot is hogging a computer looking for a deal and an associate can't lookup or place an order for another customer that gets frustrating and makes them look bad. But honestly I would think the rational solution would be to place a "public use" computer near the front of the store.

Too bad you can't access the PCA URL via the free wifi...

I've noticed my store printing tags that are yellow, but just the regular price... Don't know if they ran out of white labels or they are trying to move some product?

and more... husky wall organizer was $3.33 (finally a drop on the cassette adapter)

Thanks for posting all these. I want to get a hammer drill but have been waiting for a good deal and that Ridgid looks like it might fit the bill.

And I've been watching that organizer. It seems to be pretty decent quality and my store has a lot of them so I figured they'd be dropping pretty far. Appreciate your work!

Tried to get a $50 46" Milwaukee upper chest earlier today. No dice. The sku numbers are ringing up for the list price 299.

I thought these were probably all gone but I found a bunch of the 2 packs Ryobi 4mh batteries for $69 today at a store in NW Houston. I bought 2 packs to get the charger and smaller battery free.

After I sell something that possibly needs a receipt for warranty, I will email them a copy if requested. I will try to purchase those items by themselves, and in cash when possible

Now carry on to the deals

I do this as well for everything I sell, although I've only ever had one person actually ask me for a copy.

The one time they did, it was for a Keter shed that I had bought several of on the same receipt. I emailed Keter to see if multiple people people could use the same receipt to register for the warranty and they said that was fine as long as each submitted a copy.

I wondered if this was the issue too but figured the people posting knew this.....? I think it's the little like oval over a square symbol, but it might be the next one.

you can also ask for a gift receipt, but very few cashiers know how to do this and in my experience they usually have to call the head cashier to get this done. I do tend to do this for the larger items.

Did y'all know that you can print a copy of the actual register receipt from HD's website? I just discovered this myself last week.

I had no idea but man I wish I could do this w O'Reilly's site. I've been trying to find a receipt that just up and walked away for a rebate. I even logged into my O'Rewards account but it just shows dates and purchase amounts, I can't pull up any detail of the purchases.

Anyway sorry for the OT, I can't make it to my store so no deals to share today.

I keep watching the 36" DeWalt lowers but they're stagnant still at $324.00 in my district. Meanwhile somebody bought two at $324 taking inventory from 4 to 2. But really I'd only consider them at $114, even $199 is more than I'd want to pay. (Just trying to throw in some HD talk LOL)

I am as well, but the way it was written, it sounded different that the emailed receipts, as those have nothing to do with going to homedepot.com.

Though thinking about it more, I have a feeling he has his cc linked to his homedepot account for automatic receipt/purchase retention, or he has Pro-xtra and entered his info for that when purchasing.

do you have link or more details? i have a few receipts that a wearing a bit thin & wrinkly

Sure thing:

1. Log in to your online account
2. Click on "My Account" and select "Account Profile"
3. On the left-hand side, select "saved credit cards"
4. Add any credit cards that you use to purchase in-store at HD. You will only be able to view receipts for purchases made by credit card.
5. On the left-hand side, select "orders and purchases" and then "in-store eReceipts"
6. All of your in-store orders purchased with the credit cards associated with your account should be visible. Select the order you want the receipt for.
7. The items on the selected order will be displayed
8. You must click the very small "View Receipt" icon to view the actual receipt. This icon is located at the top-middle, below the purchase number.
9. Select the "Print Receipt" icon at the top-right.

You should check out HD Pro Xtra. It lets you see copies of all store receipts and will call forms.

It also lets you track your spending at each store. That way you when your arguing with management you can back up your claim that you spent $XXXXX at Home Depot (or their store in particular) within the last yeast.

I know they also give out a $20 off of $200 coupon with new sign ups at certain times of the year.

already in the club!

So it turns out, I was aware of what was being referenced. I was hoping to be able to re-print receipts that you have the information for (date, register, transaction#) that were NOT paid by credit card, which is something usually limited to corporate or store mgrs. if it was paid by cc, you could usually get a copy in store, but it is much easier online once registered for it

You can add the cash transactions to your pro account by entering the information you mentioned. The system then allows you to print copies of the receipt. I print these out for rebate submissions. They're clearer and I don't have to photocopy register receipts.

Found the Husky 62" adjustable height work table for $124.04 down from $248.00 this evening:

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-62-in-x-24-in-D-Work-Table-Black-HOLT62XDB11/206698778

With the adjustable feet vs casters, I think it will be pretty sturdy.

Looks like HD is getting more and more like Harbor Freight and the like with the prices they put on their sales stickers. I'm sure it was $248 at some point in time, but their own regular price is $199. Just like the $350 Bosch saw that "was $950", or something like that, but that was probably for a week back in 2005. :dunno:
