Who would buy these expensive lights unless Yu are a full time construction where there is no power.. It just makes no sense.. Too much money for even hobbyist, DIY and know most construction guys are cheap ones I know... Now if Yu have money to burn, go ahead... If Yu need lights and in the trade, then put that money towards a good generator.

You can just search by name like Husky, DeWalt, Milwaukee, etc... See what comes up... There is a choice in the search to show only clearance items, but also I think you can sort by price.

Alternatively you can look for old items up in the rafters, write down the SKU, then search the computer and check the price. If nothing comes up and you are sure the number is correct, and the computer did not time-out it's connection, then it will ring up as a penny....

That's awesome... My store has just about all their toolchests unboxed in the front, they print out either the small sticker or a large placard for them. I've noticed the Milwaukee's have changed SKU's over time so they keep the price at $698...

The computer at my store yesterday WAS in the Store PC Menu (or whatever they call it with the tiles for their apps) but it was in the "Rental Menu." I couldn't figure out how to get to the "main" PC screen where the PCA tile would show up?

Clicking the lower left icons never got me there like it used to. Is this part of the system update?

Yeah, I got one the other day too... They aren't really $75 normal price, but still a good savings over the regular prices of bulbs... So much for ever switching to LED in the near future...

You got that right! I was planning on switching over to LED when I ran out of my remaining stock of 5 bulbs, but now with this purchase bringing me up to 35 bulbs, it may be another decade before I run out. Maybe by then, there'll be some cool new bulb technology.

Can't say for sure if this is the same situation or not, but I've jumped on computers before and the "Store PC Menu" only had two rows of apps. I've always just closed it out and opened up a new instance.

If its in full-screen mode or something similar and you can't figure out how to close it, try hitting the Windows key. It should bring up the start menu which will allow you to launch a new instance and close out the current one.

If all else fails, open up IE and type in the PCA URL manually.

i think that most of these deals are local events. headquarters decides that stock level for something should be N units, and stores with substantially above that start dropping prices. or headquarters decides that a given store doesnt sell enough of something, and tells it to dump what they have, to make room for more profitable stuff, which is why it doesnt show up everywhere.

Probably have a better chance of Lowe's price matching if you can find the similar item in store...

Try pressing CTRL-ESC to bring up the normal start menu, or ALT-TAB to switch windows. My store got some nice new computers recently with LARGE screens, the menu looks a little nicer than before but still has the same public apps...

Yes, some things are ONE store only... Some could be just in a city / regional.... Some are nation-wide... Just depends on the item and time of year. Sometimes products are excess, sometimes they are SKU changeovers, sometimes they are being discontinued... Sometimes things are seasonal... Lots of reasons...

Don't just dismiss a deal though if it's not at your store. Save the product name & SKU in your phone and keep checking on it. Eventually it *could* drop in price... My store here is usually like 3 months behind the rest of the world... LOL...

There's another HD like 25 miles away, but I rarely go to it... That store has TONS and TONS on clearance, it's crazy. My local store rarely has anything. The things my local store has on clearance too, most of the time the other store doesn't... How weird is that?

Agree. It comes down to a bit of luck and hard work. I'm just not willing to commit 20-30 hours a week to visiting stores. I do stop by my local stores occasionally and look but it seems like deals are harder to find. I would attribute that to more people looking. This tread and slick deals adds to the number of people hunting.
