I was browsing the nailer isle today, wasn't expecting to see any of the Milwaukee's left... I saw a sticker where they should be and an associate on the phone with someone calling to see if they had any, I overheard him tell the guy he sold the last one earlier today... :( After he hung up another guy with a scanner double-checked qty and such and they pulled the sticker... I forgot which finishing nailer it was for, I think the price was $95.03

There were a few weber grills marked down a little, but none of those showed up in inventory, nor did a quick walk checking the rafters reveal anything. There were certainly never any marked down to the seventy-something dollar price in the past couple months at my store. :(

I saw the 52" Husky9-drawer mobile work bench was $120 in the system (1001081787) but none at my store. That would have really made my day.

They were still showing those Milwaukee toolbox tops at $50, but our store never sold them separate and only has a few of the combos in inventory...

Other than that, nothing special right now, probably in the coming weeks as it get closer to labor day we'll see some inventory being cleared out / refreshed.

Yesterday I went looking for the Milwaukee nailer, all looked to be gone, I had an associate to double check and his reader stated ZERO and none at any local stores. I searched the rafters and spotted the 18 gauge ($95) and had that same guy pull it for me moments later, he was surprised. Later I went to a different store 70 miles away and again way up in the rafters I found a 15 gauge for 100.03, SCORE, im a carpenter and this is just what I have been dreaming of lately. I really want the new yellow dewalts but for this price i'm SO beyond HAPPY.

fyi I found the glendale, ca store (san fernando rd) did say they had 2 - 18 gauges in stock but LA traffic is not worth it and that was 24 hours ago btw. It may be worth a shot for anybody very local to the Glendale store to take a look.

I found 2 boxes spirit e-210s but they had a floor model too with regular price of $300ish. Didn't bother checking the price. Is there a specific sku you guys have? Like an outgoing model sku?

Are these all on clearance at every HD?

If they aren't yet they probably will be soon... I overheard one employee explaining to another about the new model...

Not sure about these as nobody has really mentioned. I think they are just tagged from sitting for so long. Best to always look in the PCA, just do a search for weber and filter clearance only. My store didn't have the e210's but they did have a couple other models marked down a fair amount.

Lucky you! My store doesn't stock too many nailers so the 3-4 of each they usually have are on a shelf right above the display models. If I end up going back to HD soon I might check over in the other tools isles up in the rafters but they rarely misplace things.

I have a different brand 18ga battery and I love it, I would really like a 15ga though too for some added flexibility...

Here's the info about the Weber grills:
IMG_1571.JPG
IMG_1572.JPG
IMG_1558.JPG

The assembled ones are super easy to spot:

The older Spirits have a screen while the newer ones have doors.

The older Genesis models have doors while the newer ones are totally open. They also say "Genesis" instead of "Genesis II" on the side tray.

You can also verify model number by checking the tag inside the tank area.

I found one store nearby that showed 7 of the 310's in stock but was unable to find them on two different trips. I went back on Friday to get something else and decided to look one more time.

I had previously ignored the uncovered areas outside bc it didn't seem logical to store them outside completely exposed. I headed there first and immediately saw this:

IMG_1621.JPG

I got super jacked bc they all had yellow tags dangling off them but soon saw they were a mix of older/newer 210's and 310's. I found two older 310's out of the 7 there. Both were missing the screens and one was missing some knobs and thermometer.

The outside garden guy referred to this area as the "bone yard" but wouldn't let me take the missing parts off another Weber that was all jacked up. Said all the grills in the "bone yard" were sold as-is and that's why they were yellow-tagged,lol. I didn't feel like arguing with him, so I just ended up getting the one.

IMG_1622.JPG

Just an FYI, the grates break if you drop them, lol.

That's employee's ar$ehole. This is like the third time I have read people talking about what HD employee's think is coming out. Where are the attachments for the string trimmer that were supposed to come out? they don't exist.

The only tools that are new from Milwaukee were announced last month at their NPS17 (new product symposium). Even when they have new heated gear, it is announced then (not this year, but last). If you think they will have new nailers anytime soon, you might want to go hibernate for another 11 months and check back then.

When a majority of HD employees don't know how to use their own systems (not once have I seen an employee use PCA, but always go to their website), I doubt anyone is going to overwhelm them with new tool information.

1/2" Hi-Torque Impacts were clearanced after xmas at a lot of stores, but it was back on most stores shelves a couple months later.

My cousin worked at HD thinking it would be a cool job after remodeling a rental. That lasted about 2 weeks after realizing he was more knowledgeable than his fellow employees & managers. If you have read much of the HD clearance threads, you rarely hear about a great HD employee

I was pleasantly surprised to come across an extremely knowledgeable person working in the electrical department at Lowes. Very rarely these days do we come across open-minded people at the Home Improvement Stores, lol.

not new models. just different models.

I know I over stated my opinion of their employees. There are a lot of good ones I have come across, with fewer bad apples. When helping in store they are generally all right. Employees at HD don't find out about new products until they hit the shelf, unless they or go out of their way to talk to the reps, or maybe follow the company online.

i forgot this earlier.

The Dewalt Power Station is on sale. $329 online for the bare-tool, maybe in-store if they stock in the larger stores. Cheaper than ebay. The kit w/ 3x 4ah 20v + 1 6ah 60v dropped to $499, and those I did see in-store. I recently came across some 6ah 20vs and am already set with Milwaukee tools, so this is all I can come up with if I keep the batteries.

You have to use one of the in-store computers to check inventory/prices for clearance items. The inventory count isn't accurate that often, so it's best to look on your own. I posted pics that showed SKU/Model # of all Weber Spirit/Genesis Grills that are on clearance a few posts back.

Not trying to dissuade you but the chances of finding one aren't that great. Most of these were gone when they hit $199. My advice to you is to hit up as many stores as you can and literally walk every inch of the store (inside and out).

If you want a $450 grill for $74 your going to have to put in some work.

They are still out there, but you're right about the legwork. Even passing on several preassembled models, today I picked up just over $1200 in grills, for about $275. The models I found have already been talked about. Happy hunting!

Thanks for the pics & tips... I checked the PCA in my store and while some models were discounted a little it wasn't anything spectacular. I doubt they went penny already, more than likely I think we just have a smaller over-all quantity of grills. But now that I know what to look for with SKU's and styles I just might have to check next time I'm there. Ya never know...

I bought four more metal connector nails for penny. They pulled them just ahead of me and I tried to buy them. The employee took them somewhere and they showed up on the shelf. Not found on pca. thru the self checkout at 4 cents.

Yeah...an item that just dropped from $300.06 to $100.03 is a year old garbage. They didn't go on clearance everywhere last year, and I'm sure I didn't find the one store with clearance.

IIRC it was a Lincoln MIG welder, and I think also a (Victor?) acetylene torch set dropped in price about the same time way back when.

Thanks for the info on the Passlode nailer, next time I'm at the store I might have to check it out.
