The local Lowes where I live never has anything good on clearance. Do they keep their clearance items in a certain location or just scattered around the store?

It depends on the individual store. Some have tables, some have racks. Sometimes they put the clearance on shelves in whatever aisle. Sometimes it changes several times a year where they put them. If you really want a clearance item that is pulled from the site, walk the entire store(You can probably skip plumbing and garden, unless that's what you're looking for).

I generally go up and down each aisle (in a new Lowe's) quickly and look for tags, it doesn't take long.

For the most part they are just tagged clearance in their usual location. One of my stores will sometimes group them together in an area. Also larger things they might stick out in the raceways to try and get them sold quicker.

Like someone else mentioned, I too just kind of walk up & down the isles looking for yellow tags. Just have to take notice they are clearance and not the bulk buy ones...

The pedestal doesn't say special order return, so maybe there's more out there. Not specified for my washer, but for that price I'll make it work.

Lowes is offering 10% off site wide for 2 days only. Must have a my Lowes acct.

Placed an order stacking the 10% off with a 10% coupon and order has been sitting in "Unknown" status. SD thread has people with same issue, Lowes is saying its something with their system and some of the orders really are there and some of them are not.

Just to be sure I tried the same exact order just now, and sure enough still sitting in unknown. Since its a truck delivery order Im going to contact my local store and see if they have any record of either order.

Had the same issue. Called the store they don't have a record of it. Had to resubmit the order and it went through.

I did this too, and used the ebates.com 7.5% too (which has been credited to my ebates account too). All worked no problem.

I'm tight on money right now, but this looked pretty good if you could stack coupons on it. Might try that now to see what it'd cost.

Couldn't find it on their site, but there was this one. Looks like the 10% + 10% + 7.5% ebates would work fine. I haven't seen this particular chest in the flesh, but Kobalt stuff generally seems well priced for the quality, so it should be pretty amazing with all the savings. It would be $280 out the door for me, when it should normally be about $580 here with tax. That's pretty killer.

Seems to be. I stopped by Lowes and picked up a new soaker hose and was able to take advantage of both discounts.

I bit the bullet and picked this up plus the top section. $600 is a pretty killer deal for both. It's not snap-on quality but it's good enough for what I do. Plus the black and blue look really cool together.

These are base 2, which needs to be tinted. Anyone knows if the semi-gloss is also base 2?

They will have all of the sheens in base 2. Base 2 just means it has less base in the can than Base 1 and more than 3 or 4. The darker the color, the higher the # base needed to get enough pigment added.
