Picked up Kobalt 119pc Mechanics set #0747832 for $22 and a level for $11

Went in to look for a level and saw the tool kit with a clearance sticker but none to be found until I turned the corner and found a shopping cart full of pulled items. I grabbed a kit off the top and checked out. Something to keep in the trunk.

Re: Truper 8-lb Maul Hickory Handle $5.00, originally $24.98

Truper 8-lb large-eye maul with hickory handle $5, originally $24.98. May not be many other stores at $5, but plenty at $6-$10.

Item # 311164 Model # TJ-8SOH-LW 33719

https://www.lowes.com/pd/Truper-8-lb-Steel-Large-Eye-Maul/3280976

A store an hour away has one @$1.50. I have Noticed that certain stores
are a lot more aggressive in their markdowns than others. This particular store is in a upper class neighborhood. While, what used to be my favorite store in a very low income area, no longer has any good deals.

It doesnt matter the income it matters the houses. If a lowes is near apartments/retirements homes/airport/golf course/car dealerships it probably wont do well. If there's a lot of houses near the lowes even if its in the ghetto it will do fine. People who live in apartments dont need tools.

Does too matter income.. rich neighborhoods generally mean more contracted work vs middle class means more diy, and lower income is up in the air, less income less splurging.

You dont know what you're talking about. All the deals I've posted including the $7 dremel I got at lowes in very good neighborhoods. If you still don't get it take it to another thread this is for posting deals not conversations

Bought a Bora 100" saw guide at local store today for $32. Originally $79 and change. They still had a couple left - had been holding off to see if they would go lower, but went ahead and snagged one before they were gone.

I see. You're allowed to converse on the subject but when someone disagrees with you it's "this is a deal thread". I understand where YOU got your dremel, but I'm speaking from my experience generally across the board. Funny a newer member such as yourself telling others that "they don't get it" and telling them what to post. Anyways, yes, back to the deals, don't want to hurt another feeler.

If you had a Lowes Consumer Credit Card, they were offering 10% additional off (can be combined with other coupons) any purchase. Make sure to check your statements carefully for the discount being applied.

Damn good deal, gonna have to wait for another $25 off 100 deal

Sent from my SM-G930R4 using Tapatalk

Renovopower.com has $20 off $100, so you'll have to decide if waiting is worth the $5 savings you'll miss out on by using $20 off rather than $25 off.

PM if you can't get a good code off renovopower and I'll see if I can find one.

Don't waste your time looking for the shelving units above. $159 everywhere.

When I posted this last night dozens of stores had this in stock for under $100. 2 stores had it for $22. I ordered it online for $74. I just checked and the price reset to $159 at all stores.

If youre looking to price match I saved a screenshot of the lowest price just in case a situation like this happened. One store has it for $8.95. You can use it for price match or price protection.

Awesome thanks! I was bummed they were all $159 now, could use a handful of them.

They arent $159. It's $159 online. The in store price is still the same. Tomorrow when I pickup my order i'll check the shelf, but im sure itll have the same $89 price. What happened is when lowes has a sale it will reset the online price to all stores to the same price. But the in store price will stay the same. I remember seeing at least a couple dozen stores that have this under $100 so I still recommend checking in store.

I'm guessing they left the details out so other people can't copy it before Lowe's figures out how to prevent it.

It wasn't a lowes specific issue. They did it with lots of retailers/sites. I think lowes was just alert enough to spot the issue and go after them.

On instragram people said they used prepaid gift cards with no balence. By the time lowes figured it out the orders had already shipped. I hope lowes doesnt start cracking down on using coupons or anything.

Anyone know the thinking behind the reoccurring Lowes cabinet deals. Every 2-4 weeks it seems Lowes knocks off 10-20% of cabinet purchases over $400.

Is it inventory, competition, regional input or what? A couple of weeks ago our local store had 20% off, then that sale ended for a week and next week the cabinets will be 15% off.

I'm ready to pop for some cabinets but I'll wait for a 20% off deal.
