The only deal I saw, was the Super-hawg (lower than Zoro even w/ 25% off), and I can't say I have a ton of uses for that, as much as I want to claim to own one.

Ugh, I want a Super Hawg. I use my Dewalt DWD460 all the time. The thing that bugs me though is I want the 7/16" hex quick connect, but I want someone to make a 7/16" chuck just in case!

Note unless you have eBay bucks or something else to offset, the Super Hawg is now a few bucks cheaper at CPO with 15% off because eBay caps the 20% at $50. I'd much rather deal with CPO than random ebay seller + ebay + paypal in the case of an issue, too.

I got my superhawg during the HD 150/200 off which made it 291 out the door. You might find it a hair chair during online sales without tax but it was a spur of the moment buy for be that I don't regret a bit :) I don't have a single corded tool left on the truck other than chargerss

This seems like a good deal:
2754-22 for $258.50
Description says 2x 5.0 batteries included. Though the pic shows 4.0.
http://airtoolsforless.com/milwaukee-2754-22-large.html
Anybody ever deal with them before? Quick Google search of them looks promising.... That kit on eBay is around 350$, and I've really been looking at getting that 3/8 gun to go with my 1/2. I think bare tool is around 150, so it's an extra 100 bucks for 2 extra batteries and a charger.

Edit: seems legit, found reference of them on other GJ threads

Milwaukee 15 piece kit (holiday price at $39.00)

Are down to $30 and at some stores at $20.04. Sku in the picture. Home Depot. Look around the rafters and between the current 13 pieces. Most of them will not show a location on the computer. And most HD sale associated aren't very helpful. Happy hunting.

YMMV

Any chance of a deal coming up soon on the String trimmer kit? Even something small like 25 off? I'm hopefully getting it for my birthday soon. It's not sold in stores anywhere around so it will have to be bought online.

I ordered mine through Acme tools at the end of December when they had a $50 off $300. Of course that was then. They also included a pair of Milwaukee gloves, which have turned out to be pretty nice. Just used it for the first time the other day & loved it (as much as one can enjoy trimming that is). I didn't like the un-smoothness of the head if I spun it manually, but turned out to be nothing to worry about after operating.

I'm sure Milwaukee will do some promo or rebate this spring for their OPE. It's new territory for Milwaukee, there's no way they won't promote it aggressively. The DeWalt OPE gets a HD end cap each season, I'm sure Milwaukee will demand the same. I'm guessing something like buy a kit get a free additional battery, or they may just throw it all in one box like 9.0 promos w the circular saw, sawzall and sliding miter.

I could be completely wrong though.....

They already have 2 different models for each tool. One with the battery & rapid charger, the other bare. I can't seem them throwing in a 2nd battery at that price, but maybe free gloves or extra trimmer line (theirs works very well imo), or just put it on sale. The 9ah did give a little more power & obviously runtime, but the trimmer was great with a 5ah as well if you don't need the battery

I still think the yard tools with 9.0 kit current prices are the special intro pricing. Maybe something like free glove like the pre-order special or line, but nothing major like a battery. Its like the Miter Saw with 1 9.0 priced at 599, that isnt gonna last forever, the free 2nd 9.0 is crazy good at 599. Trimmer bare tool is 199, 9.0 + rapid is 249, so 299 for that is a deal already, getting 10-20% off that price is the best someone will get. Well see if HD has anything special when they get them in stock, but unlikely. Heard they were gonna do demo days at some stores come spring.

Every demo days I've gone to has been a huge let down. No different than walking into HD any other day of the week from my experiences (screws into a 4x4). The only thing "demoed" last time was the Radius light. Too bad it wasn't in a dark room, or somewhere to actually see it's ability. I guess I'm expecting them to for example bring a one-key sawzall and a regular sawzall and show why the one is better. Stacking Milwaukee tool boxes around a table draped in a Milwaukee cloth is not a "demo" imo.

You will like the trimmer. I'll be waiting for another deal on them to pick up a 2nd one for another piece of property. Their trimmer line seems to hold up better than whatever i had been using. Hardly had to bump, and I was cutting reed like grasses. On that, the bump did seem to stick a little. I'm sure with a little use, it will be fine. Nothing that would prevent me from buying again.
I like the blower as well. Still no gas replacement, but getting there. The lever that stays locked at a given setting is a hair fickle when it comes to revealing it back to zero, but again nothing horrible. Perhaps I just need a fatter finger.

Will Home Depot actually stock the string trimmers? No where I've seen around town is planning on stocking them in store. City is 250K so we have a decent market.

I'm getting the trimmer no matter what cause I need one and am very tired of dealing with gas. I'm not the best at fixing gas engines so it will be a money saver to have the Milwaukee.

I'm a little skeptical on the blower now after seeing some reviews. I'll probably wait till videos come out and check it out then.

I don't see why, they're allegedly throwing the 2731 into the 9.0 "starter kits" for "free" and they claim the 2731 to retail at $229, selling it all for $249. Those packages are still in HD with the 2731 or the Fuel Sawzall. The Fuel Sawzall supposedly retails for, what, $180?

Their claims that a 9.0 "starter kit" should be $249 with one 9.0 and a rapid charger are just exaggerated so normal prices seem like a great deal.

Again, I've never seen Milwaukee prices start out cheap and then climb. They always start high and drop. If nothing else next year there will be a V2.0 coming out and this year's string trimmer will be "so yesterday." We've seen that a million times with Fuel drivers, drills, and right now the 2763.

Good deal or so-so?

They're that price at HD and have been since they came out. It's a good everyday price. If you add up the parts they are stupid expensive. I've been buying them and selling the tools, so now I have I think 7 or 8 of the new 9.0 batteries... end up costing me about $65 a piece with charger!

I used the Acme/CPO discounts, last 2 I bought I used HD's match of Menards 11%.

I want the battery most of all, but a Fuel Circular Saw certainly isn't going to upset me. I guess I'll go for it.

Careful with that one. There's been a lot of these scam sites popping up lately using BigCommerce to make what at the surface looks like a legit site with just tempting enough prices just below everywhere else.

Every single one I've looked at the WhoIs Info on in the past couple months shows they are registering the domain through a service to hide their identity. They also just use random addresses in business parks or towers to make it hard to tell. One even used an abandoned house in Vegas.

Put a stop on your payment if you ordered and avoid sites that looks like a boilerplate template.

You're right, it might be a scam site. Everything points to it. I used Paypal so I will cancel my order.

My local HD had the M18 compact blower on clearance for $50. They had two. I bought one.

Damnit. I'd love another blower, I use mine ALL THE TIME.

Other than the DB Glide, HDs around here have been plain awful for deals. Not sure if people are getting to them ALL before I get there, or if they've changed things up a bit. But when I do see clearance prices they usually stink.

I was in Depot today and saw the blower, they had three of them. I grabbed one for myself and one for a friend, I'm surprised at the power the little guy has.

Warm deal at the HD in Rockwall, TX. Milwaukee 2362 M12 LED lantern/floodlight for $49. Cheaper than Amazon or Tooltopia. YMMV.

they are clearanced those out at every store. surprising, as it seems like an item that would sell better in someones hand. Great lights (and cell charger) if you don't have one
