When I got home today there was a package for me, not an Amazon box. I'll get some pics in the morning, it was the 3/8 impact kit I posted about previously, remember I had canceled the order and received a credit back on my card. I already have the kit from HD... return to HD and keep the kit from rocketiaq, after telling them to charge me again of course, my thoughts are try to help the little guy out... It seems they are a start up company that has some serious flaws in there procedures...

I don't think it's so much as flaws.. look at the other products they sell and it'sout of place with milwaukee. You can't find Milwaukee on their site unless they search. I'm guessing they found an opportunity to make money outside of their standard and got overwhelmed woth the response.

Whatever it is, I'm trying to be the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. Maybe mine is going Pony Express. Haha

I got mine today after it was "lost." Two separate Amazon boxes and came in a similar time line as to once someone responded to me. The Hackzall came perfect in its own box.

When I opened the battery box it was these two gems, instead of the the (2) 4.0Ah batteries I ordered. Needless to say I sent them a testy email. I will report back.

Small update, daily emails have still gone un-answered. When you call their customer service line I get the following recording, regardless of when I have called:

"Thank you for calling RocketIAQ.com. Unfortunately all sales representatives are currently unavailable. Please contact us at [email protected]. Thank you have a wonderful day." This repeats 3 times and then disconnects you.

They have until the end of the week until it is disputed on my credit card.

Until you realize you get hit with shipping, unless you get over $200, then it's only 10% or less savings

True. Still seems to beat the Zoro sales which are inflated prices off the bat, then the 25% gets you to HD/retail price. But shippings free over $50

I was about to place an order with RocketIAQ until something told me to hold off and do a search here first. I figured a 9.0 M18 battery for $89 was too good to be true. I guess I'm off looking elsewhere.
FYI, I did just purchase the M18 Fuel yard blower off ebay for $118 shipped. Looking for the best deal on the 9.0 battery pack now.

Link to the rocketiaq page and see if HD will match it via chat

I pulled the trigger. :(

I am sure when I use it I will be happier. At least I can sell my corded version.

One call and I sold my corded version for $600, that makes it feel a bit better. I think I paid $950 10 years ago, and I know I got my money out of it.

Good for you. I was given a corded Milwaukee that I have yet to use, so it's hard to justify $1500 for a cordless one.

I do occasionally use the mag drill on a tower, so cordless will be much better than hauling the generator part way up, then running a heavy extension cord the rest of the way. I have probably used my mag drill once in the last 2 years, but when you need it, there really is nothing else that does what it can do. I also bought an adapter plate to allow usage on pipe, that would open up a few more uses for me. Thanks for posting the deal, now that Zoro doesn't have the 30% off sales it was never really at the price I wanted, $1500 was my tipping point.

No go. They claimed rocketiaq was a wholesaler and couldn't price match with them.

EDIT: Just ordered a Milwaukee 9.0 off Amazon for $118.48 with Prime

I got lucky with my 3/8 kit, all I did was asked if they would price match, sent rocket link and done.

Unfortunately it isn’t a good deal on the mag drill. Shame on me for not looking harder. eBay is selling them for as low as $1200 with free shipping.

Interesting. The one at $1200 is Great Lakes Power Tools. The one at $1300 is Redding Fasteners, they're legit IME, I ordered a Rapid Charger from them on eBay awhile back.

Believe me, I called them a little while ago to find out the deal, they told me they were changing the price on the ebay auction and if I bought it, they would cancel it as well. I asked if there was anything they could do to make the deal better and he said nope, but he would sell me another one at $1500. I do feel a bit annoyed as they obviously sold some at that lower price. GreatLakes shipped so fast that to return it, would cost more than the $200 difference for the Redding fasteners one. I am usually better at shopping than that. I even did research to see why they would drop the price so much and ebay never crossed my mind. :(

As of this morning the RED2DAY was still working at Acme, but that may have been before their 8am so maybe they just hadn't booted up a new day yet. I haven't tried since about ~7:30a MST

I also pre-ordered the heat gun at $20 off. Cancelled my previous order w Ohio Power Tool.

It was good through today so that makes sense :)

I ordered the staple gun (+ T25 filler) on one order, and the heat gun on another... code works multiple times. Shipping was nominal ($6.something) and I combined with 3% cash back so pretty good deal!

Yesterday I received my real Milwaukee 4.0 batteries in an amazon Prime box. Glad I got the good deal on them from Rocketiaq but I certainly paid the price in terms of stress time chasing them.

Well, another week went by without any communication from the asshats at RocketIAQ, so I emailed them last Thursday asking for an update. No response, so I shot them another email this past Monday. They didn't respond to my email or my questions, but instead sent me a generic "we've cancelled your order, as you requested" email. No, I didn't ask for my order to be cancelled - I asked for the parts you advertised and I paid for in mid August.

I sent them a response asking for a POC in management, reason for cancellation, etc. No response since. No refund to my card either.

Who are these people? Between the "fake" customer service call line, the false promises and backpedaling on ship date, the lack of communication, and the BS others on this site have also experienced, this has been by leaps and bounds the most amateur experience I've ever had. And they appear to be an established online retailer!

I do not recommend anyone do business with them. Stay clear, well clear.

Home Depot is running a Special Buy on 2754-22, combining it with their 3/8" drive SAE 5/16 - 3/4" deep impact socket set P/N 49-66-4419 for $289. The regular 2754-22 is $329 WITHOUT the socket set from HD, and the cheapest I see it elsewhere is $288-300.

I just got an email from Acme, for buy certain tools with certain accessories, get 20% off. Combing those two items, comes out to $293. The bonus from buying from Acme, is that you get your choice of accessory, potentially making it cheaper &/or getting an accessory you want.

thats where i got my m18 mag drill . ebays price was unbeatable. had to do it. same with the thermal imager. i ended up paying half of the price of the mag drill for which for the better 2260 thermal imager was a kill.

Exactly 2 months from when I ordered (and after chasing them about my order numerous times) I finally got a semblance of a shipping confirmation today. Crossing my fingers that it comes on Friday.
The rep admitted himself that he has "requested [the] order to be pushed out the door nearly 12 times now. If you are still interested, I'll contact a manager there and see what the deal is". I told him that the customer shouldn't need to prompt them for order fulfillment because the only role of the customer is to order and pay!!
Anyhow, if my livelihood were dependent on tools, it would be tough to get me to order from them again. The deal was pretty darn good though. Having faith that my credit card company was taking all the risk, I was okay with waiting.

So this surprised me when I got home in an Amazon box. I guess they shipped it same day!
