Hey guys, what’s the best deal out there currently on the new M12 fuel 3/8 ratchet? I need one in my life. Seems like it’s 149 everywhere. Thanks!

If you can find the bare tool at toolup MAD20 should get you 20%. I could only find the 1/4” and 1/2”

Well, my saga with Rocketiaq inevitably ended up with me submitting a credit card claim, of course. Similar to their false promises of product shipment, they made false promises of a credit card refund.

What method is there to spread the word on this company, at the very least on Garage Journal? Can we create a sticky or something? Can you make the term "rocketiaq" blanked out to " ********* " like optionally done with certain swear words? Break all links to their website? Is there a moderator who would be willing to explore that?

Been lurking this forum for years, decided to finally join.

I'm in the market for the M18 Fuel drill/impact combo kit. This seems like one of the best deals right now...$329 for the kit with 2 5.0 Ah batteries and bit set.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...Bit-Set-50-Piece-2897-22-48-32-4013/301276490

I'm not in a hurry and thinking I should wait until black Friday, however, I don't think Home Deport normally has deals on the M18 Fuel line during black Friday, do they? Thoughts?

If you're not in a hurry I would wait because they've been offering some pretty good deals with that specific kit in years past. I'm sure someone here can recall exactly what the deal has been. I believe I bought mine with a fuel sawzall and the sawzall may have been free???

Wait until Friday. That is when the HD holiday promo that involves that kit starts for Milwaukee promo. I have pics I will post when I find my phone shortly. Jist of promo: free tool with purchase of Drill/Impact Kit (w/ or w/o Onekey, one-key kit comes with bonus roll cage light) or Fuel 10" Miter Saw.

free tools: 9ah battery, fuel sawzall, fuel circular saw, mid-torqe 1/2" impact, $199 stand light

I was quite disappointed, only because I look forward to the $150/$200 promotion they have ran at least the last 3 years.

Cool, thanks for the info all. They do have a Fuel kit with free sawzall currently, but it is $399 and it is not the Fuel Sawzall.

I'm all for waiting though. A free 1/2" impact would be sweet. I already have the Fuel 3/8" impact and it is hands down, my favorite tool. Use it all the time.

Looks like M12 fuel will be individually sold with a case for the holidays at HD

Not much of a deal for the mid torque. My issues is all my HD's only carry the pin detent in stock too. I want the friction ring version. Looks like some are showing online already.

If you were referring to the current price, then no, not a deal. Prices don't start until 10/30.

Thanks for the photos! So is it looking like HD won't be doing the additional $150-200 off at all this year?

Wait.. I paid 279 no tax and free shipping on eBay for that same deal minus the bits a while back. Don't quote me but I think it was Tools Plus Outlet

$399 seems like a lot for that kit even with the free tool. Over the summer I bought the fuel impact and hammer drill with 1 5.0 and 1 2.0 battery, free hedge trimmer all for $299.

You guys might want to check out what both NTX and CPO are offering for deals too. It seems right in line or maybe better than what Depot sent out today. Funny how all thre companies hit the ground running, Milwaukee must be pushing real hard right now with incentives.

Did you get the M18 Fuel or the M18 brushless (non-Fuel). Those prices seem more in line with what I've seen for the brushless stuff...

Yea, CPO actually had some decent deals, but all pretty similar to HD. Best I saw was 20% off the fuel kit with an accessory purchase, as well as the brushless kit for 225 after discount.

Fuel set. It was a great deal the choice was either the fuel hammer drill with 2 5.0s or the impact/ hammer drill and 1 small battery plus the 5.0. I already had a few big ones so I wanted a 2.0 which is great in the impact.

Here's the expired link from SlickDeals:

HD has the 2897-22 Fuel Impact/Drill kit for $400 with choice of free item:
2861-20 Fuel Mid-Torque 1/2" Impact
2720-20 Fuel sawzall - Retail $180
2731 Fuel Circ saw 7 1/4" Right hand blade - retail $200
2130 Light - Retail $200
9AH battery - $140 or less all over so not a recommended "free" item.

Try M18 Fuel free as a search at HD site. Some of these deals expire tonight the 30th. :spit: :rocker: :willy_nil

Also some other deals. So, the light or saws would make the kit close to $200. Not bad.

So does HD literally let you return the free tool and give you money back or store credit?

You can return it, but its not full credit. Discount is broken up between the kit and bare tool on the receipt to equal the amount of just the kit. So an illustration, but if you got a $100 bare tool, on the receipt it would say max refund value of $60 or something like that. Just an example.

Is this going to take the place of the "50/100/150 towards bare tool" promo that they've been running the last few years?

If so, good for my wallet! But not good for buying more Milwaukee tools.

I indicated that it would in the post with the pictures of the deal. It has the exact run time as the the $150/$200 deal as last year, and involves the 2 usual base kits, but includes miter saw this year, and has it's own endcap calling it out. Highly doubtful they would have another major promotion that would compete with that. Hopefully they will have some better deals on bare tools without buying the combo. I was hoping for the other deal to buy the new Fuel 1/2" High Torque (possibly with One-Key), and knew that would get me the lowest price. I'm sure I'll find something

I did see they brought back the Fuel 7-1/4" or Fuel Sawzall w/ 9ah for $250. Was in a cardboard shipper like last year.

Item A = paid kit cost
Item B= free item valued cost

Cost for Item A = A * A / (A+B)
Cost for Item B = B * A/ (A+B)

Watch out on this. I bought the Fuel Impact/Drill kit with free Sawzall (or vacuum) for $329 about a month ago as a daily deal and the free item was not listed separately on the receipt so I couldn’t return it. I already had a non fuel Sawzall so ended up giving to my dad.

Only applicable in-store. They don't want to rung up an item at $0, and be able to return the other item for full price. Online packages are rung out together, as you found out.

Stopped by my local HD and saw this deal for the M18, brushless, non-fuel (which now I see online), but I didn't see the M18 Fuel deal with the free tool in store.

6tPN9Hc.jpg

I also saw this... Def going to stop in. I'm hoping they will give me 10% off the online M18 Fuel deal with free tool.... But who knows.

ggqaWj7.jpg

I know I don't "need" the Fuel version, but I really would like the adjustable power on the impact driver (only on the fuel version). I plan to have this set for many years, so I suppose $100 difference over the long term isn't a huge deal :)

Well, I've been leaning towards the M18 brushless, non-fuel combo kit, and CPO Tools has a deal almost too good to pass up.

M18 Brushless hammer drill, impact driver, 2 - XC 4.0 ah batteries (the HD promo kit has 1 4.0 and 1 2.0) for $250, MINUS $25, PLUS a free tool (you pick out the free tool in your cart): $225 total for the combo, including 2 XC batteries and a free tool. Seems too good to pass up!

I personally prefer the 2.0 battery for the impact myself, nice to have a lighter weight package when using it. Good deal either way

Cripe Distributing is great. They somehow get overstock or clearance items in bulk and sell them cheap. I check their website every once in a while and usually find a few things worthwhile each time.

you should check their ebay store. i have found things there that are not in their web store, but never found anything on the web store that isn't on ebay.

after i get a cart full of stuff on ebay, i go to their web store, and load the things that are listed there into a cart, and then i email them the list of things from ebay they dont list. bree adds them to the cart, and emails me a cost including shipping.

I think the M12 fuel drill/impact combo kit with 2 batteries and free tool for $199 is an even better deal. CPO also had an extra $25 off of the $199, but they bumped up their price to $219 today so it's $195 with free tool via cpo. The M12 3/8 ratchet would be super handy.

However the master deal hunter quickly pointed out my last "deal" I spotted wasn't that outstanding lol... What say you @Dacan23 about this deal?
