Anyone else out there looking to get a Milwaukee Mid-torque (2860-20 or 2861-20) tomorrow?

Seems like the going "best rate" is approximately $139, new, from eBay, or reconditioned from CPO.

Any ideas where else to look?

Maybe it's me, but this Cyber Monday has been less than stellar... Aside from this big $500 Milwaukee purchase didn't find any $99 Mid-torques... Sheesh!!

Acme has the M12 soldering iron in stock if someone was looking for it. Should have waited for the 20% but with 20 off 100 I would only be saving a few backs. Not worth the hassle. Heat gun was separate order.

Thought Nick was selling them sooner but that was just a preorder, might just unfollow that page. Nothing that spectacular if you just search around online. Works well for truck route I’m sure though.

I always gets boots when ebay has a coupon for $15 off $75. I usually have enough other things to get saved already. It seems like someone is always just finding out about the boots, so I grab them that way, and they are usually right at retail, with free shipping. otherwise hard to find a great deal on them, if thats what you need

It wasn't included. I had to add something to get free shipping so I just added that. I figured rather than just spend the $6 for shipping I'll add the boot and get it at a "discount". In my head anyway.

no, that is a completely reasonable way to look at it. you got 6.95$ off the boot, because you didnt need to spend that money to ship the other things.

That would be sweet, but every listing I have seen for the kit, Milwaukee's website too, does not mention including a boot. It has always been considered an accessory. Perhaps where you got it from was including it. Had any place mentioned that, I would have actually got one. Otherwise, I know there are some SnapOn boots that work on the non-fuel units, and hoping maybe one of their's will work for the fuel. it was considerably cheaper, and could be bought online even

I went to the Milwaukee factory service center in Philadelphia two weeks ago and they open the kit for me to see.







I found this image online, but this is exactly what the kit I looked at had in it.



I bought the bare tool and a separate boot for mine because I already have enough batteries and chargers.

While reading there seems to be two model numbers for a kit
2557-21 & 2557-22 not sure what the difference is 100% but it appears one has two batteries vs the other with just one.

that is exactly the difference. -20 is tool only; -21 is tool, charger, one battery; -22 is tool, charger and two batteries, usually one "small" (both physically and in Amp Hours) and the other "larger", although not always, sometimes the two are the same.

-8X is the same as above, but has been factory reconditioned. sometimes the batteries are new, sometimes they are also reconditioned.
