Wow the 2742-21ct is already sold out

That shouldn't matter much as the one thing I love about Toolup's site is it lets you order items they don't have. It'll show as "backorder" or "special order" but you can still use the promo codes at the time.

In contrast CPO's site is horrible if they don't have an item they don't even give you a price for that item, even if it's something common.

BUT none of this would seem to matter because I just searched the 2742-21ct at Toolup and it's back up to $399.

The 2743 still appears to be $199, however.

I grabbed a 2742 yesterday at $199 and a 2743 today at $179. I don't even work with wood, but at least one is a gift. edit: both showed as backorder when I placed my orders

Their new bundle that's close to that price point is now brushless, so I doubt you will see that bundle again. $99 for brushless kit at HD, normal price is $119

Yep, depends on what you're after. If you want power I'd opt for the brushed 2606. The 2701 is definitely the "wimpiest" brushless 18V drill that Milwaukee offers (I have two and I use 'em all the time but I've learned to not expect much from them).

Looking at the specs for the 2606 and 2701 both claim 500 in lbs but the protections in the 2701 are borderline obnoxious. Give it something it can't handle (and that's NOT hard to do) and it just gives up and flashes "F-U" in morse code (ok, not really, but kinda!)

You guys ****. I was trying so hard to resist these nail gun deals but just couldn't when it came out to $179 for the 15 gauge. Oh well, I guess I'll be getting a good Christmas present this year. I added the 2.0 for $29 but now I just need to figure out what to do with all these Milwaukee chargers that are collecting dust.

Pretty much regular price. I don't know if the prices will come down again this summer but if you can wait I got the fuel hammer drill impact combo with an additional free tool for $299 in the summer. That one only came with one 5.0 and one 2.0.

i will note that the small M12 bluetooth speaker is there for 69$ as a bare tool, and 79$ including a battery (dont know which one) and charger.

10$ for any genuine milwaukee battery is a deal, even for one of the small ones.

and there is that free charger. . . . . really, someone needs to figure out what new purpose we can put those chargers to . . . . .
