Does CPO offer any warranty on refurbished tools?

from the beginning of the listings for refurb tools:

Buy with confidence! Our Reconditioned items include all necessary parts and are guaranteed to function like new, backed by our 60 day money back guarantee. Please note however that reconditioned units received from the manufacturer may or may not include accessories shown with this listing.

Not sure how to check out this deal on FB - any help? Is this the 2783 grinder with the brake or one of the other Fuel grinders (can't tell from the screen shot)?

Today Acme had the 2606-21L combo with a 4.0 free battery for $99 (but add $6.49 shipping). So that’s the 2606 drill, charger, LED light, 1.5 battery and 4.0 battery

I ordered this and returned the 2606-21L I had just got from CPO for $99 (and free shipping). It’s actually a gift and I hate to get somebody into M18 with only a single 1.5. It was worth the effort to also get them a new 4.0 IMO

I would virtually guarantee it is not the brake version.

I asked him for the brake version and he sent me the nonbrake version and then argued about it (even claimed he had never heard of the brake version that I ordered from him by using the model number from Milwaukee). He's not a thief or a crook and his prices are good, just know that if there's a mistake I wouldn't personally count on him working too much to make it right. Everyone makes mistakes, it's what happens after that counts a lot of times.

I agree, when I bought my mid torque from him I also ordered the boot. I asked him if he had it in stock (and gave him the correct part #). When the box came it had my mid torque but the boot was for the high torque. By the time he sent me a call tag and he had the new one drop shipped it was over a month later.

I just don’t understand when you give a part number why they can’t really check to be sure.......

that is the tradeoff you get for the extra N percent off you get.

his prices are better because he doesn't sweat the small stuff. usually it works out fine, and everyone is happy. when it doesn't, he is busy paying attention to the next deal, and while he eventually gets around to you, you are not a top priority. he is not being evil, it is just the business model. if you dont like it, find someone who works on the customer service end of it more, but understand you will pay more. . . .

It's not the 2783, just the 2780. They wouldn't have lasted long at all if so. You have to request to be added to the private group, then you can see his posts. You can still send him $$ through PayPal if you know what the price is and put what you are getting in the notes.

Most of the time they are pretty good deals, but not always. He was the first that I was aware of to offer the Milwaukee outdoor tool promo of buy the kit, get an OPE free (plus no tax or shipping). His GearWrench deals always seem to be good, but often limited quantity & sell out.

I picked up the same kit (as a gift as well) a couple minutes after the acme email came out. I went back after work to order another and saw they were sold oit.

That Nick Morello guy is a total douche. He belongs to a power tools (Milwaukee) group on fb. His deals are about 90% BS. He often promotes "Buy this tool and get this free" when he is actually charging more for the initial tool. When someone else points this out or posts a deal better than his...he has them banned from the group as he is an admin. His buddy is also an admin and they run their own tool webpages. Tons of people getting ripped off because they don't research the deal. 90% of the time, the deals can be beat on Amazon. I left the group on principal.

Having said that...every now and then he posts something legit.

Home Depot Daily Deal. Seems like a good deal.

M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit (7-Tool) w/(2) Batteries, Charger, (1) Tool Bag

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...-7-Tool-w-2-Batteries-Charger-1-Tool-Bag-2695

Fixed Link - $399

While not a Special Buy of the Day, it is only good for today. Great job on the HD marketing department there. While the AeroGarden is a good deal today, I'd rather see tools featured, or at least another sale area for very limited items. Only way we all know about it because of Triumph (thanks)

only two batteries. i think if there are going to be seven tools, there should be more.

i also wonder if that bag is really that big in comparison to the tools . . . . . .

Damn one XC (only a 3.0) and one compact. Not much battery for those tools.

And it still annoys me that right angle drill only has a 3/8” chuck. In M18 they shoulda stepped up to 1/2”

But still not a terrible deal for the $. Kinda cool it has the compact blower

Well that's a showstopper for me. Thanks. I don't own any "turned down" shank bits... they annoy me.

It might be worth looking into if that M18 RAD can be easily and inexpensively converted to a 1/2" chuck. But honestly the second I did that they'd announce a new Fuel version with 1/2" chuck already on it.

As a machinist the only S&D drills I own are 1/2" shank running 1/2+" thru 1". 3/8" shank is dumb, hard to find and generally Bob Vila grade.

not for me:

Screen Shot 2017-12-15 at 16.22.48 .jpg

Add it to cart, then check out. It drops to $249, part of the 12days discount. I might order it, for the 2 batts, charger, hacksall, and light. Sell the drill and impact driver.

Man I messed up. I was really wanting a M12 soldering gun and found the MILW2017 to use on acme tools website. That would have brought the price down to $109 for the kit. I had it in my cart and ready to go,but decided to ask my co worker if he wanted one also so I added 2 to my cart. This was all happening at about 11pm on the 15th.When I went back to my cart I guess The code expired and I couldn't use it anymore. FML. Found out later the code expired on the dec 16.
I guess the hour time zone difference screwed me over.

Doesn't work for me either. And it looks like the 12days deals are good today, the 16th. Any special codes to put in?

Re: Opinions on this "deal" please

Any opinions of this as a good deal?

Milwaukee 7-1/4" Fuel Saw with 9.0Ah battery and charger. I know the battery alone is selling for $170 at HD.

fivespdcat mentioned this on the Milwaukee addiction thread for the Grinder / 9.0 kit: Use PGIFTS10 code and get another 10%. ($239 - 10%)
