yes I doubt lowes would risk the bad pr going after the few that made it out, I can just see the headlines now "lowes trying to have me arrested for placing an online order"

You would think, but no one seems to recall the past instances where Lowes, HD, Walmart and others have done this.

Again, just sharing past experience, helpers gotta help.

Received the email notice “your items are on the way” for the ladder Monday afternoon for the ladder. An hour later I received the email that the order will be cancelled. Tuesday I was charged and received a FedEx update that it’s on the way. Checked status on FedEx this morning and it moved from Tennessee headed this direction.

Still a few of these around. I bought a handful for stocking stuffers.

Sorry but I call BS. Can you post a example of one case above? My experience involves being a GM of a company doing brick and mortar plus online sales and have spent countless hours/meeting with lawyers and personally sitting in court. Arrested for theft? lol that had me chuckling after personally dealing with this on multiple occasions.

Refunds generally Take 2 to 3 days before they show up on your credit card. Don't freak out quite yet

If it really bothers you you can call your credit card company off and they will see that it's in pending status on the refund and let you know that it'll be a couple days. This is a very common practice for all retail world

Interesting. I did not receive a cancellation or a confirmation for the ladder. I merely received a confirmation and shipping notice for the two other items I ordered with the ladder. Those items were charged to my card in 2 separate charges.

BTW! I am very concerned because there is now a Black Suburban with tinted windows sitting in front of my house and the lettering on the door says: Lowe’s Ladder Recovery Service...... "IF" they want it back they can come and pick it up!

Same on a second order...it was just delivered. So two ladders and no police action, no drones hovering overhead, no Lowe's secret service, no men in black. Still waiting for those a few years after my first Lowe's deal and subsequent deals after that.

Someone in this thread sure has a vivid imagination. I heard that if you say Lowe's three times a fairy will show up and take your ladder.

I received my ladder today (Ordered 25th). I never got the cancellation email that others received. Also the charge has cleared on my CC. I'll keep a watch to see if they try to charge again, though I highly doubt it.

But based on the other reports here I guess I'm counting on a "Flowers By Irene" van sitting outside my house when I get home today.

Concerning the ladder, I received the "Your items are on the way" email with a tracking number, Shortly thereafter the "Incorrectly priced - canceled" email. No other emails concerning the ladder.

My ladder showed up yesterday.

I wonder how many people that received the cancellation email actually received the ladder?
