yeah. 'womens bf' is an important distinction as your store's displays are torn down and these products are moved to overhead and beyond.
they were on the rt table clearly marketed to women, as opposed to the tables clearly marketed towards children.

Weber charcoal marked down to $3.90. Local store by work had 18 bags. Met a guy in the aisle looking for the same thing and we split them and both took 9.

Also while walking around i found this lonely LED troffer light laying around. Always get grief while using this stores computers so i took a chance on it at the marked price. Rang up $.01 :)

Also to note, this store had new SCO stations with handheld scanners and large touch screens. I figured if it was a penny these new stations would flag it for sure. NOPE! Even had a couple employees standing around and none of them cared.

They call these assisted checkout. They have been piloting here in Atlanta for a couple of years while they perfect the software. They are much faster than SCO due to better processors and can be upgraded for much less $ than the NCR SCO hardware.

Oh and they won’t flag you for penny items but neither will the old SCO units.

we just got those fig screens, downside, only one takes cash.

The other downside is no more price check button. You have to scan it and then walk away if its not the price you want. The poor sco person has to do 10 steps to clear it for the next customer.

Not a deal, Klein just finally lowered the MSRP to a reasonable one

I'm not sure it's even worth that much. It feels like a $5 walmart special. It's big and clunky. And all the tools are very stiff to open and close. I've spent a couple of hours trying to break it and and haven't made much progress with it.

Agreed my Klein folding pocket knife I hate I never carry it, similarly styled to this multitool. I grab one of my Kershaws instead or even a Dewalt one I have

May be store specific. No idea why they won't rotate. 7336f671a449a4fdc4a015c9121ef59e.jpg9bd98cae78fe8b281147e8edbd9beb1f.jpgfadf915ea02233f07c7d4f00393d3256.jpgcea3b98ccf30d68d3679ad4dab078ce0.jpgaae71dd4342e7a38196c1fc6ca7828a7.jpg74faccaa715cb29b72b6584a33bbcca0.jpg17f324429f45849bddb6e3233da5dc7e.jpgb771043a9a3bac92010393a488246407.jpg6db4accc293fe08fcaaf9b6ef88f96e6.jpgeeac663edd6eb0205eac83abfae8c540.jpg

So my local HD has about 6 if these kits up top

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-FUEL-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-Hammer-Drill-and-Impact-Driver-Combo-Kit-2-Tool-with-PACKOUT-Case-2997-22CXPO/305664777?keyword=1003306561&searchtype=text&semanticToken=200300000+>++st%3A%7B1003306561%7D%3Ast+cnn%3A%7B0%3A0%7D+cnb%3A%7B9%3A0%7D+oos%3A%7B0%3A1%7D+qu%3A%7B1003306561%7D%3Aqu

The inventory on line says not available. If I got one dug down what are the odds they would be discounted?

That is the gen 3 kit. As far as I know they haven’t been discounted at all. Appears to be on sale for $299 which is a great deal but not clearanced or anything.. all my local stores show 299 and 5+ inventory

I was in a store yesterday (Frankfort,IL) and the 2 of the Milwaukee kits were 50$ off -- i thought this one was 249. i am not positive that it was this exact kit -- had the same plastic case but i didn't' pay too much attention to the SKU. I just saw it as i was passing by.

Does the 1002 SKU indicate anything?

Not really. When they converted from 6 to 10 digit skus several years back, they started with 1000. Then when they used those up, 1001, then 1002. They are up to 1003 now, so the only info you can glean from it, is that it's not one of the newest products in store, but not super old either

Anyone have info on the Blackstone Griddle? I was in a store on Thursday last week and noticed that they had one assembled clearanced at $210...

I've heard good things about them. Was looking for something like that last summer. It was on my list.

Not sold in store so maybe a return?

Not in my experience.

They consider the HD website a separate business, which still drives me nuts for them to say that. Anyway, the inventory is considered separately, and EVERY online return I've done, all were RTV'd.

Ironically, I just bought a "refurbed" M12 6ah battery on NewEgg (only had 1), and it turned out to be brand new in packaging with a green RTV sticker on it. only $20 :)

are **.07 store specific markdowns? can't say I've seen it before

Yes, most stores with both B&M and online create two separate companies - Sears, Kmart, Walmart, Lowes, HD, Autozone, Advance Auto, etc. all do this. That's one reason for apparent inventory differences as well as pricing differences.

EVERY online return I've done, all were RTV'd.

That might be the difference - perhaps online orders are RTVed but orders placed in-store are clearanced. It's usually building materials and millwork I see, which were probably ordered in-store.

Anyone have info on the Blackstone Griddle? I was in a store on Thursday last week and noticed that they had one assembled clearanced at $210.

i believe it was this model:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Blackstone-36-in-Propane-Gas-Griddle-Cooking-Stations-1554/204738097

but this model appears to be internet only.
the SKU started with 1002. ( i did not write it down and i didnt' have my phone to snap a pic :lol_hitti ).

Does the 1002 SKU indicate anything?

The Blackstone griddles showed up at my store last year just before thanksgiving. I was hoping to catch one cheap on clearance but haven't noticed any price drops yet. Maybe Ill check this weekend. Home Depot clearance items usually show online only once they start the clearance cycle.

Not a clearance deal, but a $5 off $50 promo code, expires today. Please post if you use it. Good in-store only.

! something gets ordered online, then returned, then automatically clearance!

As I said, it's likely the clearanced returns were ordered in-store rather than online.

crazy they wouldnt just send back to warehouse where they could get full price for it?

They don't get "full price" for returns and they have to handle and ship it. Given their costs it's often not worth the cost to send back. For example, a door with a $200 retail value has an RTV value around $25 but may well cost $20 or so to ship and take another $10 in burdened labor cost - so they lose money if they return it. Normally their contract with most vendors will give them full RTV if they destroy the item, they don't have to return it.

ive got a store that always has a ton of random doors that are either online or custom-order returns. they have those 'dept sku' yella tags. not sure why yall are debating ymmv stuff like its consistent...
fwiw, bought some batteries instore via online, put my inconspicuous proof mark on em, returned em later opened unused and proofed... found em on a shelf months later with a half off dept sku yella tag and talked the chick into $50 off the 'opened junk'. i didnt plan it that way but a win is a win

Mostly because it is not "ymmv stuff" - vendor contracts are company-wide, so understanding which vendor's items are RTV and which are clearanced in-store helps us get deals.

Good info, what brand were the batteries?
