They were discounted on the display at the front of the atore. I was lucky enough to grab the last kit. They had plenty of 12.0 only packs for $250 though... I was kind of surprised. Almost nothing at my store gets discounted before it's sold off to a third party retailer.

Yeah, these were the same two battery kit's, with a 12.0, 6.0, and rapid charger. They were definitely dusty and at the 'end of the isle display', but no sale price for me, bummer.

No, that its at **.06 clearance pricing. The price you saw. Most won't consider clearance items until the next markdown to $**.03, presumably $25.03. I bought one, only b/c the store has several, and will only keep if the price drops.

Just happened to be in a HD and saw one in store that was supposed to have been sold out. Rang up as 1¢. Appears this item might be pennied out.

Anyone here have the ego hedge trimmer? Hd has a recon with batt for $129. Trying to decide between that, and the ryobi $69 tool only. I hate to have another charger for a different tool, but the ego looks really nice.

Ego are great tools in my opinion. I really dig the string trimmer, hedge trimmer, chainsaw and blower I have. Been wanting the mower, but purchased a new mower only a couple years ago.

While it is .03, it's not the usual 25% or so off. I think they have popped up at $224.03 in some stores, if they weren't marked down to $199 already

Most the stores I have checked or been watching have had them priced at either 199.99 or 199.06. the ones ending in .06 have been at this price point dated over 60 days so I am hoping for another price drop in the near future. Bit not sure when that may be or when it does if any will be left.
