I picked this up too but trying to decide whether to keep it as it has a ni-cad instead of Lithium.

Wrong. It has a sealed lead-acid battery like most of the jump starters that have multi-functions.

From instruction manual: "Built-in battery 8-amp hour (Ah) sealed, lead-acid, maintenance-free, spill-proof, rechargeable."

Picked up an Echo 58V brushless hedge trimmer with 2AH battery and charger for $75 - 10%. 2 left in the Tewksbury MA store.

Most cordless hedge trimmer are heavy.. I tried the ego, milwaukee, echo, ryobi.. Echo was the heaviest, ego and Milwaukee same..
Only the 40v ryobi was lightest and worked pretty good.. It passed the wife test, which was light, simple so no gas and cut and shape the bushes.

For $20, it's a no brainier. I picked one up too. Nice for a quick jump, or fill a tire.

Wasn't looking for an m18 hackzall since I already have my m12, but a kit for $125 was too good to pass up. 9ec9c3b6bfe705af447b48b4cece036a.jpg

Couldnt find the deck mate screws but found grab rite 5lb boxes at 75%. Don't know the clearance date but they had pulled them off the shelf. 8 x 3 deck screws but they had other sizes of exterior and interior screws.

M18 Fuel Leaf blower, tool only, model 2724-20

$99 (norm $149).

NOTE: Showed out of stock at my store, but was available to order online. Stopped in to check the store anyway and found a display in the aisle with about 10 on it (part of the spring black Friday sale).

Picked me up one yesterday. Wish I had a 9ah for it

I am much more pleased with my Gen1 blower when using a 12ah than a 9ah. I think the there is a tiny performance boost, as well as an increased run time per amp hour. The larger cells in the 12 are definitely more efficient.

Are any of the propane heaters safe to use in an enclosed space, you know like my garage in the winter?

Ive used a Mr. buddy in the garage with no issue, I do use a carbon monoxide detector though to just make sure, you never know lol

I figure as long as you got a detector (around 10-25$) your good to go with any of the ones HD is selling.

New sale on the 22ft Gorilla ladders. Discounted down to $99 from $220......

They are like the little giant ladders.

I purchased online for in-store pickup. I've been using a 28ft extension ladder in the barn, but sometimes its nice to have two ladders set up an available to climb up into the trusses to do wiring and connections.

Lol, it's dumb. If the unit is dead, you can get power by pulling the cord...it quite stupid. So I thought my unit was defective. Just needed 24 hr charge. For $20 it's a no brainier for a quick jump, or I just filled my daughters tire. Took 5 mins from 8 pounds to 35. Better than pulling out my compressor.

ya i grabbed a few. they always need a big charge to begin with. charge it every time you use and top off every month or two as well. you can pull the sla battery and fast charge it with a bench charger too.

i read online somewhere that apparently 3 mins of pulling is enough to jump something...

Thanks for posting this. I just went down and bought one, they were marked at $220 but rang up at $99. Great deal!

Here is a note to fellow veterans... Lowes applies veteran discount to sale and clearance items; Home depot does not.
As highlighted by the 2019 Lowes deals/sales/clearance thread, I have made numerous purchases at Lowes getting a veterans discount either through shipping or in-store pickup. I went on the 2019 Home Depot Clearance thread and found a deal on the $200 gorilla ladder for $99 but no free shipping. My local HD had 20 in stock. When the cashier rang it up, the register/computer would not apply the veteran discount. (Just another reason I do most of my trading at lowes!)

I went to buy one of the Husky jumpstarters on clearance. The store computer showed 20.03, but it rang up at full price, $80. I even looked it up by the upc on the computer, still showed the clearance price. First time I have seen that.

What SKU was coming up when it rang up? They might have reused the sku for the newer model or replacement or the manager overrode the clearance price.

I just saw a tool only for $199 on the shelf. I did find 2 previously with battery for $199 and walked out of the store for $152 plus tax.

I was able to get them to price match Rural King at $169 today but after trying online chat and three different stories that was the best I could get them to do so I bought it because I need one and hopefully the price will drop in the next 30 days. If it doesn't drop for a while and the stores still have some later I'll buy at the lower price and return it against today's receipt if I have to.
