My Home Depot finally rolled out the M12 Rocket Light w/ free 6.0 battery deal.
They had tons of lights but only one 6.0 so it will probably be on backorder.
I think return value of 6.0 was $50-60 bucks so good deal if you just need the light for around $100 or the battery is always nice to have more.

Pretty decent deal if you need a charger as well.

Ryobi Days 2019: some info has been released

Looks like a lot of BoGo and some discounts coming on more popular tools. Looking to snag a nailer and maybe something else.

I think he's talking about clearance items.. Depends on each store manager.. Some stores say 7 days.. Some return and dont resell, saying return dept has to check before putting item back on floor for sale,, another words they steal the deals.. Lol..
Not easy as it seems and some stores monitor customers doing this and keep track of it in their database for blacklist ban customer from returning anything.. . Take Yur risk or reward.

Sweet. I just picked up that husky tool box with the $150 coupon but someone on another page said they sometimes drop to $300 off on memorial day sale. Would be nice to save an extra few sheckles.

What was it before?

I've been eyeballing one at my Home Depot on the clearance rack, but it's still $250.

There is no one answer as the system doesn’t prevent this or enable it. It is not capable of doing an exchange, except for even exchange of a defective item. My local store once told me no. Not within x days, just no.
If a store is tracking return rebuys, they are doing it outside of the POS system. If you get banned from returns, HD didn’t make that decision. The Retail Equation did and it wasn’t for doing return rebuys or buying too many clearance items. Don’t use gift cards that were procured thru fraudulent means or return more than you buy and you won’t get banned.

Keep checking mine was at $250 last too. They had like 6 when they were $250 but only one left when it went to $175

Nice deal. Was going to wait for a Acme Tool % coupon hopefully Memorial Day, Father's Day, or July 4th while they have the Free 2 Battery pack promo for it but the Home Depot deal would be better at $175

Yes much better. And depending on your needs you can sell the charger for about ~$60 and the bag for another $10

It is apparently based on doing too many returns in too short a time period. Discussion and evidence suggests 6 returns a year is the threshold, but no one has been able to confirm that.

There are likely other causes for a ban too, such as the gc issues you mentioned.

6 returns without a receipt I'm guessing you meant to say?
It's not just about how many times, it's also factors the amounts as well as transactions at other Retail equation clients (Best Buy, etc) and your return practices there. Never did recieved my purchase history I requested from them years ago. Overall I'm for what the company is trying to accomplish, but can fudge up on some decisions it makes.

My memory of it is it isn’t the number of returns, but if you are returning more than you are buying, that is when they block you.

Tons of led tubes on clearance at my HD today. I didn’t get any pics or SKUs though.

No, evidence suggest more that two non-receipt returns a year will result in refusing further returns. It's 6 returns with receipt, according to some experiences and discussion on other forums.

That’s why I like to use cash whenever possible, and throw the receipts in a box. That way, unless you’re putting something on will call, the purchase is not linked to you in any way. Return with the cash receipt, and you don’t need ID. You can sign the keypad with whatever name suits your fancy that day.

I’ve not had any return problems—and certainly hope that stays that way—but around last Fall my local HD started asking for ID on all returns. Not seen what happens if someone refuses.

I have done far more than this and never been cut off. This is by design. They don’t want to cut off their most frequent customers, but do want to push the crooks elsewhere. This is why HD (and others) pay TRE to evaluate returns.

I happened to be behind a customer trying a return at Lowes a few months ago. It was a contractor, he apparently was in the habit of buying extra plumbing fittings and returning the ones he did not use. In spite of being a frequent and high dollar purchase customer, they refused to allow more returns.

It seems the algorithms they use to predict return fraud and flag people are more complex, so all we are likely to figure out are extreme limits. I doubt it has much to do with frequency of purchase but probably does consider other metrics they believe suggest fraud.

I do this at my Lowes. Who wants to run back and forth to the store for a few misc. items. I'm not a contractor but I spend lots of money there. Stupid policy on HD's part. Hopefullythe guy calls corprate to straighten that out.
