Went to home depot looking for this. No luck. However I did find a Husky compact impact gun for $34 dollars. I also found some impact butterfly wrenches for $11. I have no idea what a butterfly impact wrench is though. I own one now though.

I think it is worth posting here as it is a great deal on a pretty much complete set of sockets. I picked one up as well, now I just need to get them sorted into the HF socket trays I picked up back when they had that 30% off any 5 items under $10 coupon.

It looks like a great deal to me. Now, if I didn't already have so many sockets I would. Resisting the temptation.

Good Deal. I picked a 2nd set kit up on ebay just a week or so ago $268 total after the discount and then earned $30 in ebay bucks for July.

Ya I guess technically it was $267 out the door. I wish Menards was having there 11% off sale. That would have gotten me $29 dollar gift card on top of it.

$0.50 a socket for good quality stuff that won't break unless you absolutely abuse it. That's a deal.

Slightly off topic... but do any of you know of any discounts to be had on equipment rental? Specifically a skid steer / dingo and trencher for work on ball fields.

The joys of volunteer work unfortunately include not being reimbursed...

maybe in exchange for hanging a banner, or an announcement to the parents email group you can get someone to rent you the stuff you need for a discount, especially if you are willing to use it when demand for it is low. or find a local lawn sprinkler guy who will bring his toys out for a morning . . .

I have found that local businesses are usually very interested in this kind of thing, especially if the person asking is a regular customer.

take a few pictures of the stuff, with their name on it prominent in the image, make a poster of it, get the kids to write "thanks" on the top and sign it.

Found display wouldn’t budge on the price had everything except chain

Worth it for the price of the battery. Sometimes the batteries off display models cannot be recharged though. You can also try the matching hedge trimmer, now 43.03 . sku 303994, Internet #203763427
It has a better battery, 2.6ah
Of course you can always try to convince them to swap for another battery in their display model battery box (if they have one).

Also, Lizard Cam now 10.03, sku 1003912929, Internet #307476079
A useful inspection cam.

blower also dropped to $40.03. i just happen to see one nudged back on a hard to see shelf. upc 046396016096.

I'm into Milwaukee, but want a battery rototiller & know I'll be much happier being able to swap batteries. Hate just buying the one tool, but Milwaukee let me down releasing one on their new system.

store also had fluorescent tube bulbs well displayed for a penny. Guess they don't mind selling at $.01 when it's inconvenient to get rid of (for stores that are super good about removing unicorns).

I can't believe the 2019 Dewalt Compressor Combo Clearance Season is already coming up. It feels like the 2018 season just ended a few months ago instead of almost 12.

I grabbed a a brushless Ryobi 3 piece: Drill/driver, Impact, and 7/14 circular saw. That's usually $199 on sale and I really wanted the saw and to compare the Drill and impact to DW 20V MAX. $130 new in the box. Included 2 6AH batteries and a charger. Couldn't go wrong. I was so focused on Milwaukee and DW at the time, I actually left the store without buying it. The only reason I went back was for my Ryobi 18V vacuum online order. I said what the heck and grabbed the 3 piece set as well.

I'm gonna unload some of my standard Ryobi drills, impact, and saws. I have the 5 1/2 and 6 1/2, but really, a 7 1/4 should cover everything I need. Can't keep everything!

HD is also selling the Milwaukee 12V tools. Drill/driver and impact are $99 for the kit, or $199 for the sames tools Fuel version. I grabbed the Fuel for the adjustable impact. A customer actually sold me on the entire line. As if this forum wasn't bad enough...

I hooked my FIL up with one of those a couple of years ago. He couldn’t believe it was only $45. I still kick myself for not buying the whole pallet of them but never could get into flipping.

I picked up the m12 drill kit with the free tool. Had my wife take the free tool back today and they denied her returning it. Anyone else run in to that? My receipt didn't have the price broke down between the items so I was hoping I could just take it back for store credit. Anyone else run into this?

that is standard. if it appears as one item on the receipt, you cannot return part of it.

Home Depot in store this deal is separate items that can each be returned, but online it is a single item and can't be partially returned.

If the item is stocked in the store, they will take it back for store credit unless you are blocked from returns. Things that are online only cannot be returned without a receipt as the store system doesn’t have prices for it.

Not sure I'm buying that. I've returned items without a receipt, as long as you have the credit card on which the purchase was made.

With regard the return of the free tool, what was the goal? Exchange for the same tool? Exchange for another free tool option?

When the clerk gave me the free (2) battery pack, which was NOT supposed to be part of the deal. When she went to ring it up, she stopped and said, "if I can't get the numbers in, you won't be able to return it." I told her, not matter what, I wasn't returning the batteries. So she just zeroed it out and we went on with our day. Point being, as long as the free tool WAS part of the deal, then you should be ok, because the tool wasn't really in the combo box. If it was in the combo box, they might require the entire set to be returned.

Please post a pic of receipt.

Ryobi pex crimper is down to $43.03, but hit SD. While looking for that, I came different unit that seemed exactly the same, aside from being marked to $88.03. there are two models on HD website, but I'm still not sure the difference aside from double the price, or that I even want either tool at 75% off. Thinking maybe pex expander is better route

Menards has their 11% rebate sale this week so it's time to look for Home Depot clearence items this week.

Question for Menards price match guys, I have a 10% off Home Depot coupon that I was going to use and then fill out their online match rebate. They will honor the 10% rebate (gift card) when a 10% coupon was used right? I thought I did it in the past but it's been a while since I got a Home Depot coupon.

Thanks

Correct. 10% HD coupon, Lowe's coupon, Vet discount still allow for the 11%. I think they say it excludes special order items in store, but don't remember ever hearing of anything really being denied.

Two threads that might help you decide.

Thanks. I actually started that thread :lol_hitti. I did see the SD one, but figured I'd get better answers here, which I did. For the time being I going to end up with both :bounce:

This is also on SD I see, but the Ryobi 40v blower w/ 3ah battery is down to $40.03. I picked up one up before seeing on SD, but I'm sure it wouldn't have been there the next day. I just bought for the battery to use in the rototiller.

You were fortunate to find both. Gives you options.

I only found the P660 clamper on clearance, but will be on the lookout for the P661 crimper.

Oh, and thank you for starting that thread.
