She went on to say they aren't allowed to use their cell phones either! I may try again tomorrow and open with "can you price match menards".

The girls at my store check prices all the time on there cell phones. You might have better luck at your local home depot.

Its not clearance.. Just sale as special buy for the holidays. Nothing special, think harbod freight feels stronger to me.

They are regularly 399, were 349 (at my store) on black Friday and now 298 to clear them out. They had 6 left over.

I bought one at $349. I believe they give a 30 day guarantee on price... sweet! $50 back.

I mulled over the Yukon and this Husky. I was mainly after the workbench aspect of this box so the extra depth of the Husky over the Yukon was a selling point. Having drawers vs doors also pushed me towards the Husky. I probably would have been happy with either...

I'm playing around on brickseek, with zip codes within an hour drive of me, and found a few potential stores that may have that compressor in stock. No prices are given, however.

Mike

Mike,
Right, Brickseek doesn't have the prices, just lets you know if the store has it at regular price or a clearance price. That is why this thread is so useful, someone can report an item that is on sale that they saw, and we can see if brickseek shows it and check on it at the store.
As far as I'm concerned the only way to know for sure is to go to the store, find the item in question, and try to buy it/ask for a price check. I've tried calling before and have gotten no help when asking about clearance items. You can't trust the price that is on an item at the local store either, they could have just not changed it.
There are all kinds of hints and tips about finding the good items that you can learn from here, so stick around a while. It doesn't hurt to go back to the first page of the thread either and read as much as you can.

Thanks again, Zeke! I did read a few pages of the beginning of this thread, and another related one, pretty cool stuff!

So i know the ryobi impact wrench was on clearance last year with a bag and bat for around $50, but i now need something a little bit stronger than my milwaukee 12v stubby. I see i can get the tool only for around $61 after returning the batt kit deal. Thoughts??? I dont need anything heavy duty, mostly lugs...rusted...and small auto repairs for my beater.

Do you need an "impact wrench", or could you get by with an "impact driver"? The latter would give you more flexibility in applications. I own and enjoy this style of impact driver by Bosch:

https://www.lowes.com/pd/Bosch-Freak-18-Volt-Cordless-Impact-Driver-1-Battery/1000540049

It allows you to attach a socket directly to the driver (like an impact wrench), but also accepts 1/4" hex bits. And the model in the link above is widely available for $79 with a bag and 2 batteries right now. It has a much lower torque rating than other impact drivers, but there are a lot of owners who claim it has no problem removing lugs all day. I own the brushless version (IDH182) and have personally removed rusted lugs without a problem.

Well apparently my little 12v stuby Milwaukee just blasted off my old rusted on lug nuts. This thing is a beast!

I finally ran into a fastener my stubby couldn’t remove - amazingly, it was the front differential drain plug on an FJ Cruiser. I had to use my Milwaukee 2767 high torque on the highest setting to get it to budge. The stubby is no joke! I couldn’t be happier with mine.

Weren't you afraid of stripping the threads by using the impact gun against that plug?

It’s not online or in their system until you scan it but. My store had about 8.

M12 inflator, 2.0 battery, power source special buy on Black Friday was $109.

They ring up at $89 right now.
I’ll probably sell the 2.0 battery as most people say this tool needs higher capacity batteries.

I was, but it wasn't moving at all. Once I decided I was going to replace the plug, I broke out the big gun and eventually it came off without damage. The plug did show some effects of the impact, so I'm glad I did replace the plug.

Here is the store sticker. Like I said. I don’t think Sku will get you anywhere really. It’s been removed from website and system.

Dewalt 12' double bevel compound miter saw $175 was $349

Bosch folding table saw stand $40 was $79

Not sure if these are good deals.

The saw is a decent deal at best, considering the 12" dual bevel slider saw + stand is sitting there at $400.

Picked up the Autel AL529 OBD II Scan Tool on clearance for $60, can't find it on the website but seemed like a good deal.
