I've never owned any fender aprons so I have nothing to compare them to. I was always to cheap to buy any. But for $5 worth a try. I'm just a home gamer now so hopefully they'll be ok for me. Sure beats the old bath towels or t-shirts I would use sometimes. I hate that they are red & say Craftsman on them but whatever.

I have several types but I prefer to use yoga mats more than any of the fender covers. They don't move around and are cushioned pretty well.

+1. i have a number of the fender gripper brand ones, which are great, but they are basically yoga mats albeit maybe a bit thicker than cheap mats.

Just bought a hose reel at my local store.

Didn't show any online, but there was one hanging out with the other craftsman clearance.

Thanks for the tip!

The box knife set looked like a good deal too!

Okay so update. 129$ for the rotary hammer and grinder kit, normally 259$. Well online it says if you buy any rotary hammer you get the dust collector for free, which is a $200+ value. 93827503d17e24ab93b2d056240daf9f.jpg

How are the fender cover? Only a few reviews, and one of them said that the rubber backing is hard/not soft. I am concerned it may scratch the paint.

The backing is a waffle pattern vinyl. Not very grippy & not soft. Don't know if it will scratch paint but possible. I expected it to be a foam rubber. I ended up returning mine today.

I tried mine out today on the vehicles not too awful bad. Dont think they are capable of scratching. But not super grippy as you said i decided for the price and the piece of mind that if i dropp wrench or socket it will protect the paint.

Honestly, I jumped on it because of the price, haven't really looked at them yet. I'll be annoyed if they move around during use, but I'm hoping adding some rare earth magnets would cure that.

When I use that style I usually use the magnetic bowls to hold them in place.

That is a great idea. Appreciate everyone's input!

I think my wife has some used yoga mats. Beside, I rather spent money for a new yoga mats for her than spending money on some crappy fender cover.

Btw, the local Lowes had LG washer and dryer floor model for sale ~50% off. I bought the washer - perfect timing since I need a washer. Not sure if that is just in this one store or other stores are doing anything similar with same model or just washer/dryer in general.

I bought the LG dryer today for ~$280. It went 75% at one store this morning. All the washing machines are still at 50% over here

Lowes product number for the dryer: 780239

Jaw stand just had the display model left.

Lamp post?

4v screwdrivers

Assuming a poorly made waffle maker.

I found 2 of those stands hiding in the back near the lumber and passed on them for the Jawhorse. The smaller stands were marked $43 but when I scanned them with the app it showed $27. The bigger Jawhorse was marked $119 but scanned $53 so I bought it. Its now marked $149.

Lowes has an outrageous deal on a tool I own and really like, the Hitachi now Metabo 12V drill driver & impact (and light and charger and 2 batteries) combo. Now down to $35 *IF* you can find it anywhere. Seen it on Amazon for $190. Can't find a single set in California. Good luck to you!

Not posting a link because the link I have is for my local area. Easy search though. On Lowe's, search "Metabo HPT 3-Tool 12-Volt Max Power Tool Combo Kit with Soft Case (Charger Included and 2-Batteries Included)"

Lufkin L1025B Black Widow 25-Foot Tape Measure Low Glare Matte Finish

https://www.lowes.com/pd/Lufkin-Black-Widow-25-ft-Tape-Measure/1000307717

$4.02 in my area. Went to local store couldn't find it, one employee told me "good luck, it's on a side stack somewhere". Quickly ran into a manager after that, he showed they only had 5 and said I bet they are thefts. Go pick you a comparable one out and I'll make a deal. Got the L1025C for $11.00. Nice tape measure with a lifetime warranty!

Used this today, it's pretty light and relies on gravity to stay in place. I don't see it scratching anything, unless dirt somehow gets embedded into the fabric.

Scored this for $50, this was the only damage to it.

Block of wood and rubber mallet should reasonably straighten the damage. Some steel angle on the inside will strengthen the bottom shelf of the work bench.

Found a small stash of Hitachi Tools at the Chicago 83rd and Stewart store.
Picked up a Belt Sander for $35 and the cordless pin nailer for $69.

Brickseek showed that there should be a corded circular saw for $35 as well but I did not have time to canvas the store.

As of this AM, there were 2 Hitachi Coil Nailers left there - I am sure they were also %75 off but I did not check the price.

I had a Summit labeled one kicking around for YEARS, never used it. Realized Saturday it's a good way to protect the tailgate when I stick the bikes in and have the front wheel hanging over the tailgate. cheap, worse but still effective version of this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008UQZBXC/?tag=atomicindus08-20

helping you guys find use for the purchases you didn't need
