I see some of those Kobalt sets in stock near me, but the price is $15.98 (20% off). I hate those cases with the acrylic lids, they'll break the first time I drop one. I also hate all the small bits. But, for $4, I'd take a set!

One near where I travel for work has 27 in stock but the price is also $15.98. That's one to keep an eye on.

came close a couple times to buying the socket set for $20 to stick in the woodshop. didn't pull the trigger though since most of my uses in there need deep sockets

Not critiquing the post but I wouldn't buy the 1000 series for more than $50, and if you had a need for not terribly strong drawers.

I think they're only 14" deep too.

Actually they are very nice for storage i bought 3 for under my workbench. So far they have worked out well but time will tell.

I too bought 3 of the 1000 series and they are light duty, but provide lots of storage.

One store in my area has Gumme's mower (1130049) in fact, has *four* of them... still at 2599.00 I even called the store to verify they weren't marked down in store.

This is not on the website anymore, I will be stopping in store today to see if they have any, my wife's friend recently got divorced and her old man took all the tools, would be perfect for her to get a start with.

go to google
type lowes and the item number
came right up for me

How come every time I click on a Lowe’s link in this forum the page is condensed to about a 1/4 of my phone screen? It doesn’t do this on any site but Lowe’s and it didn’t use to do it on Lowe’s. It’s weird and I have no idea why this happens

These 10% and '$20 of $100' coupons I see all over eBay... are they legit? And where are they getting these from?

Dewalt 2 pack 4.5" angle grinders for $60 bucks if they have em in store. Unfortunately, all my local stores are sold out and the nearest one is 2 hours away!

Thanks for the dewalt grinders, I picked up a 2 pack tonight. Couldn’t find them although it said 6 in stock. They ended up being on the top shelf.

Also you can get a cheap one at harbor freight for 9 bucks with a coupon so good to have multiple set up this way for a project.

Gotcha. I have an old Craftsman one, used it once. Definitely handy to have around. Don't have any big projects planned that would require cutting and brushing, but that does make sense.

Cutoff wheel, wire wheel, grinding wheel. Time to switch them out.

I have 3 grinders for this reason. I've always thought it seems like a dumb waste of money and tool space - especially if you want to use a good-quality grinder and not HF. Bosch has just introduced a new system that allows for fast attachment changes:

I've also read that they are licensing this "x-lock" system to other manufacturers, so it is likely to become the new standard (just like Bosch did with the t-shank jigsaw blade and SDS hammer interface).

The helicopters have been dispatched.

Mike, don't worry. Your family will be taken care of.
.

Sorry guys, lost my head for a minute there...

Now that's pretty cool. Most annoying video ever, though. They should have at least edited out the voices.
