I found it in store.
Sometimes I just look at their inventory/stock looking for reduced prices. The game is playing chicken. Finding something at a 20% discount and waiting . . . until it hits 50 or 60% off. If it's something I don't have to have or can't use immediately I might wait until 80%off. But there is a good chance someone else will find it or Lowes will raise the price back up.

It was definitely a localize deal.
Stores in PA had the reduced prices, while stores closer to NYC didn't reduce their prices. Or the NY stores reduced by a few bucks. The Trex I picked up for was normally $38 to $42 for 12ft, I got at $10 & $5 a piece, less than buying pressure treated decking.

Plus I've found that IF you find a fanastic deal you need to act quick. Sometimes the deal will disappear in days or hours.

Thanks for your response. Looks like you found a great deal and that I need to spend some more time in the store.

Lowe’s is behind the competition with on line orders. I have done many at Home Depot without an issue. Have done 3 or 4 at Lowe’s and had issues with two. One I waited in store to pick up for over an hour (no it wasn’t crowded). The second one said available but was not. Never updated me with email. Called store multiple times and they didn’t know the story until 3rd call. They will get it figured out but will take some effort on their part.

Biggest problem I've had with online order for store pick-up is Lowes folks will fill my orders with items that have already been opened. They seem to leave the best unopened boxes on the shelves. I always check to see how many they have in inventory before I get to the store. If they try to give me an already opened box I tell them to go get an unopened one.

I have had similar issues with Lowe’s. Actually picked the wrong part. They appear to be pulling based on shelf upc rather than actual product. I find a lot of incorrect parts in bins at the store and this seems to translate into incorrect fulfillment.

I like Lowe’s but will not do any on line orders......too much hassle.

they put any open boxes as the first one on the hanger or the front of the shelf. when the pickers go get one they dgaf about you and grab the first one they come across.

call the store, get to the pro section and do a phone sale. lowes or hd much better success rate than online order. I've had several HD orders go really terrible from 'we don't know when the delivery company that has your freezer will be doing deliveries again' to 'no you can't buy that one that we have in stock. even though it has the same item # model # etc its in the new packaging' etc. I will say I have had good orders from both and bad orders from both but most bad experiences I have had from either one was online orders.

Greenlee 3-Piece Electrician's Multi Tool Kit Multi-Tool

These have dropped down to as low as 5.99 in some locations.
Some Chicagoland stores had them at 6.25 but have sold out at that price. There are still a lot of them floating around at %50 off - hopefully, they will drop soon.

Just ordered this for pick up for $11, showing 1 in stock. Let's see if they come through and find it.

I got two emails that both my orders for them were delayed, and to call and confirm that I still want them and will wait. Called customer service and he made note that I still want them, and said I'll get an update email when they know a timeline for when they'll be in stock and another with a shipping timeline. We'll see...

Update, one of my orders is now showing "preparing your order" and the other is still "order received". Looks like I'll be getting at least one of them soon!

Ordered up a router as well, store almost an hour away had one, already got pickup confirmation. I'm going to see if they will release it to one of my drivers, I load LTL freight every day to this store on one of my routes so fingers crossed. If not I will go get it one day next week.

Thanks, ordered the last one anywhere near me and they actually had it.
Paid $13.50 for mine. I see they are on ebay for a few bucks more. Oh well, I like them so it's a deal.

FYI, The Reese trailer accessories are still on sale and available at some stores. I bought a couple pins for $1.7X for spares as it never fails I lose those late at night, dark and emergency type situations.

Some stock around St Louis. Picked up 3 from my local store. They were still in the case and up above on the shelf. Thanks for posting!

Once it hits SD things disappear quickly.
There was a couple up by my brother, but he woke up too late.

While this is true, the policy excludes clearance prices so they typically can, and in my experience, do tell you that they will not match the price.

If the price you are trying to match is a clearance item at another store, then that makes sense because that's their written policy. But for sale items, they definitely will price match. If you get an uncooperative employee, just ask for a manager because they will know the policy. Regardless, I don't know why people mess with "price matching" - why not just buy from the lower price store? My local HD and Lowes will usually *beat* a sale price by 10%, so that makes it worth my while.

I totally disagree with you. Nowhere in their price match policy does it say,
we will price match another Lowes. They will price match a competitor "Shop any Lowe’s store for in-stock products. Then, find an in-stock, identical product (brand, size, model number) from a local or online retail competitor with a lower price." Lowes does not compete with itself.

They also will not price match "Discontinued, used, refurbished, clearance, closeout or damaged merchandise

Unless I missed something, can you find it in there price match policy to prove me wrong.

You also state " If you get an uncooperative employee, just ask for a manager because they will know the policy." You may have found an uninformed employee that may match a clearance item, but they have a limited threshold dollar amount. Anything over that calls for a manager override. Then you will be dealing with someone who is more informed and in most cases will get shot down. You may get lucky if the manager wants to get rid of the product.
