I have three of these 5 gallon SURE CANS and they have been great over the years...... Heavier than other plastic cans and they are designed well.

BTW! Try to grab one of these cans at this price and you won’t be sorry.

That's pretty cool. Only thing missing is a cover for the whole set.

It should have a top cover (like a cake carrier) to keep dust and debris out, especially if you work near it with the Dremel tool. Any idea what size it is?

Mike
I thought they were going to cancel my order, but it finally arrived. It has a 7 13/16" diameter on the top lip, and about a 2 1/4" height with the center container (removable). A cheap plastic dish cover may not be tall enough to completely cover it with the container in place: Nordic Ware Plate Cover.

I was hoping the blue portion spins, but it's some eva foam that has been glued into the pan. I suppose I can drill a hole in the center of the pan and mount it to a wall.

Not bad for $10 (less with personal discounts). :)

$12.98 at my store

I believe their daily deals last only one day.

Thanks for following up! I'd forgotten about this, and of course they sold out...

I too was thinking it would be nice if it spun.

Several stores told me that those were on "send back" and they were not allowed to sell them. They are getting rid of all Legrand products but are required to send back unsold items apparently.

I assumed that's what happened since almost no Legrand stuff went on clearance. The GFCIs are on clearance around me though - apparently one of the only exceptions.

Have you seen them in the store? The stores around me show large quantities - 44, 56, 98 - in stock, but at the store they say they cannot sell them and have to send them back.

I did manage to get one of the singles, it was on the overhead and an employee from another department who apparently was not informed got it down for me. No problems at checkout, it appears the department manager is supposed to make sure these are not available on the floor to sell, but the register has no issues ringing them out.

Yes, I have seen them in store for probably over a month. They are just sitting in the clearance section. Nobody is buying them and the price keeps dropping. Weird that your stores have them on hand and claim they are supposed to RTV. Why didn't they return them with all the other Legrand stuff?

There were a few boxes on a clearance shelf at my local store, but still priced at about $30.

I checked mine. They were not available in a 30 miles radius but it was possible to order them. No price match though. Rang at $37.

Regarding the Legrand outlets, I had a similar situation with Closetmaid wire shelving. The website showed lots of stock so I went to the store and couldn't find the items anywhere. Only wire shelving that they had was Rubbermaid. After speaking with customer service, they explained that they used to sell Closetmaid but Rubbermaid bought out the space - including the remaining Closetmaid inventory, which they were not allowed to sell. They acknowledged that they had it but could not sell it. I'm guessing the Legrand situation may be similar.

Bunch of Craftsman and some Kobalt on clearance. There's a 2.0 amp battery maintainer for $13.47. Most of the holiday stock seem to be between $20 and $50 off or more. Pictures were too big to attach so I made an album.

Loranger, where was that power cord located in your store?

The Lowe's site says they're sold out, but Brickseek thinks there are a few in a couple of stores near me in MA.

The price tag he posted says says Aisle 27, Bay C, Location 19 probably a clearance endcap near the seasonal department.

It was on the aisle with the generators I believe. My store had several.

Woo Hoo!!!

I searched the entire store, couldn't find them. Asked a lady working in the seasonal area, she insisted that they had 7, and were with the rest of the extension cords in the electrical department. First she asked another guy in seasonal, he hadn't seen them in his area (I did check the area where the generators were as well).

So, she walked with me to the electrical aisle. They weren't in the two bays of extension cords. They weren't in the bay listed in the computer. They weren't in the overheads of those three bays.

She then asked the electrical department manager, he said that he hadn't seen them since they were in with trim-a-tree (which is now all gone except for a small table of odds and ends), he couldn't find any, and they were on his list to zero out of inventory.

So, I thanked them for their time and started to leave. Before I got to the end of the aisle, the woman said, "Wait here they are!"

They were at floor level, a few more bays away from where the were supposed to be.

The price tag on the bay was around $90. THEY RANG UP FOR $17.80 each!!! I took 4. They still had at least 5 more when I left.

BTW, these come in fancy cardboard boxes (not just a loop of wire with a small band around it like most of the cords). Here's a pic.

This store is in Milford, MA.

I picked up one today, only one store in the metro area had them, luckily it was the second closest store. They were on a skid in the aisle with no price tag. There was an elderly guy shopping for an extension cord that I told about the price. He followed me to the checkout with 2 cords, he was one happy guy. Started the new year off right for both of us.

Thanks for this! One area store shows eleven on hand @17.80 but of course, I can never trust their inventory numbers.
I’m COVID + right now so I’m not going to be able to go directly to get them so I purchased 4 for store pickup.
I’ll try to get someone by there to snag them for me.

Not unexpected; I got a call from the store (Henderson, TX) to say that they couldn’t find any of the 11 shown in stock so they’re canceling.
Of course I shouldn’t go looking myself due to COVID so I tried to same at another more distant store, showing five on hand.
Ordered four, will see if they find them or cancel.

I bought a 2pk of 50ft--12/3 gauge extension for like 30 bucks or so from costco while back..which seems more versatile then carry a big 100ft ones around...and I hate even looping up the 50ft one, let alone the 100ft ones...

How does Lowe's determine price?
Looking for those air tanks. Some stores they are on sale, some not. Prices vary.
Prices for the extension cords vary from $17.** to $20.**, there seems to be no consistency?

Welcome to the Lowe’s clearance world, where deals can be had, but logic and predictability are in short supply.

Someone on another forum/site suggested I cut these up and make a bunch of smaller cords. Not sure I want to do that, but they ARE heavy, and probably not user-friendly for coiling. I'm thinking I may want to find some reels for them.

Before I went to the store yesterday, BS said they had 7-10 in stock at each of several stores near me. By last night, they all read 0. I wonder if they're really gone, or were zeroed out.

As for the other discussion points, I found the Craftsman 2 Amp battery chargers, but they were listed at full price (in the store, not listed online). I didn't see any price-checking scanners (like they have at WM), and didn't bother taking one to the counter. Probably should have, because the power cords rang up correctly despite the wrong tag in the store.

Just picked up 4 of the 100’ ext cords for 17.80 apiece while visiting my sister for the weekend. Thanks folks!!

They were in the small section next to the Pros checkout, on the shelf marked at regular price so no wonder the store still had 9.
