2021 Goodwill/ReStore/Surplus/Thrift Store Finds

Since thrift stores don't post inventory online, I thought it would be good to post some of their GJ themed items here. It can save people a lot of driving around. I'll start it off:


4 drawer HON file cabinets, are normally about $250 but a few (biege/off-white color) are at:
Greater Washington (DC) Goodwill on S. Glebe Rd. for $25 in great shape.
Columbia Pike for $30 also in great shape

Columbia Pike also had a 4 drawer lateral cabinet that needed a little TLC on the bottom drawer

Value Village which is a chain of thrift stores similar to Goodwill Industries.

2 screwdriver package for $2.09 plus tax. Tuesday is Senior day for 30% off.

Klein Tools flat blade screwdriver # 601 - 6 inch blade.
Second was a made in China labeled Swordfish brand 5000V. Looks like a Phillips #2 tip.

Occasionally I will find a good name brand tool at a good price.
Last one was a Fiskars bypass cutter.

Toolboxes are hit or miss. I’ve gotten a Milwaukee and Dewalt Sawzall boxes for $4.00 each plus my 30% discount in the past.
