Opening day at Jake’s Flea Market, Barto PA. It’s also the PA statewide Trout Season opener, but sometimes, you can’t have it all.

Nothing earthshattering, but I did run into a fair amount of Bonney and S/O-BluePoint items. I was a bit profligate, and dumped about $50 for all.
The overpainted No4 type14 Bailey plane will be a project. I mistakenly thought I had a start on it when I rounded a corner and found a different vendor selling parts. I was sure the extra frog (which is too wide for this body) had the reverse-thread brass knob, but when I got it home, it’s standard-thread. Bummer. So, still no knob and no blade. And I’m ‘spicious the wood knob and handle may be replacements or altered. Oh well, maybe for parts.
Next-interesting item was a C-93 1/2dr swivel handle from the dawn of Craftsman. Happy to find a Bonney magnetic reacher/picker, a Blue-Point 2-spring reacher/picker and 1/4dr BP flexshaft extension with a SO TM83A screwdriver bit on it. Also a A-2001 S-O 1/2dr speeder with a pin instead of detent ball. Hmm.
A Bon-E-Con box led me to some 3/8dr sockets and handle, but all jumbled with other brands and I did not find a ratchet. Bonney spreaders, rethreading dies, screw-extracter pounch with mixed-brands, and a couple other sockets. The jab saw handle may be missing a **** cap.
The bacon flattener is like one I saw in an antiques store midwinter, but this was 40x cheaper. (Good, because it turns out to be made in Taiwan!) Hood masonry chisel. Mac pin punches. Stanley hammer, Plomb line wrench.
Only real mystery is the missing branding on the reel 50’ measuring tape. Nothing stamped that I can see.
