Oops. Yup, more obvious now that I read it again (correctly)...

^^^^alinc100 and OR both get *****. Nice picking, guys!
I have the same set. Came to me in the same styrofoam tray (and a blue and white paper sleeve) as you have there. It's not a one-off.Flare Nut Crowfoot Wrench Set (1965) (207S FRH is the number for the 6pt set--I couldn't find a 12pt set in the catalogs)

I went back out to my shop and grabbed it, with better glasses and lighting I discovered it was a Snap On .Apparently on Ebay it could get me 3x-4x what I paid for the entire lot. Can anyone tell me the proper model number?
It’s the No. 6. Great find.LOL, let's just say it was a lightbulb moment, when I realized not only that it wasn't broken, but also who made it. After typing the above I went and dug through GJ,found the link to collecting SnapOn and with your info of No.6 found the catalog pages. Amazing what help from smart people, a keyboard and coffee will get you on a Sunday Morning.I was wondering if you didn’t mention it on purpose. It’s the No. 6. Great find.
I‘ll gee ya six bucks for it...LOL, let's just say it was a lightbulb moment, when I realized not only that it wasn't broken, but also who made it. I’ve never seen one in the wild. They’re on Ebay every day of the year though. I bought one from a forum member at what I thought was a fair price considering it had damage. Those No. 6's can be quite nice if you like flipping. The last one I sold went for almost 100X what I paid for it. I still have one or two as they aren't that rare.

You wouldn't happen to remember the part number for the 12pt set, would you? Mine are from 1965 and all have individual FRHxxx numbers while their individual counterparts in the 6pt 207S FRH set from the 1970 catalog have the same numbers with an S suffix--FRHxxxS.I have the same set. Came to me in the same styrofoam tray (and a blue and white paper sleeve) as you have there. It's not a one-off.
Did something similar for a sale I couldn't make but a friend did. Think I posted about the experience here in the spring.Someone posted some pics showing "displays" (large unorganized piles of stuff) at some garage sales, and we were supposed to report what we'd likely look at and/or buy.
If all the 6pt hve a S suffix on each part, and the set also has an S, wouldnt the 12pt just be 207 FRH? Or am i missing something? You wouldn't happen to remember the part number for the 12pt set, would you? I've only seen one, and it was one of my best finds back in 2019, linked here... https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/2019-garage-sale-thread.411194/page-55#post-7815995I’ve never seen one in the wild.
That was me. Flea market tables, though. I've done it before in years gone by. Always fun.Someone posted some pics showing "displays" (large unorganized piles of stuff) at some garage sales, and we were supposed to report what we'd likely look at and/or buy.
I go to estate sales mostly, and don't hit garage sales as often as I should unless they happen to advertise .I get daily email from Estatesales.net of sales in my area, and based upon location and pics I decide which sales to attend. I also try not to banter too much with the pros running the sale if I happen to find PLOMB,HAZET,BONNEY wrenches/tools in the $1 bin while Craftsman and Snap On are under glass. I don't want them to know that the 'oddball' brands can be quite valuable. The seller from yesterdays haul has a sign "Unless marked all hand tools are $5 each" which I think throws folks off. When I take my bag o goodies to the cash out table ,he will peek in and suggest a price that saves us both the counting/itemizing.And it's well under the $5/per cost.Did something similar for a sale I couldn't make but a friend did. Basically had him send me pics of the tables and tried making out what was what while on call with him(he's a tool ripper so he doesn't know brands beyond craftsman). Didn't go too well but he had me on speaker so the guy running the sale heard what I was talking about and pulled some stuff off the tables and grabbed some more stuff from his garage and made me a pile based on keywords(truck brands and brass mainly).
My area pretty much only has garage sales(some would be considered estate sales, everything goes including the house, but aren't listed any different).I go to estate sales mostly, and don't hit garage sales as often as I should unless they happen to advertise .I get daily email from Estatesales.net of sales in my area, and based upon location and pics I decide which sales to attend. It's very possible--both that you are right and that you may be missing something! If all the 6pt hve a S suffix on each part, and the set also has an S, wouldnt the 12pt just be 207 FRH? Or am i missing something?
Based on their markings, mine are also from 1965. My sleeve was torn and the tray was packed with spent grease, so I tossed those shortly after purchase and put the sockets on an A277. Did not record the set number. You wouldn't happen to remember the part number for the 12pt set, would you? Hah. This is the sort of thing that warrants a well-intended "You ****!" at 3:10 in the morning. That's part of it, some I've dispersed already and some is still in the car. Taps and dies, pocket knives, nib style pens, proto ratchet, Craftsman wrenches and sockets, a rotozip, old school Craftsman sander, yards and yards of emory cloth, tube cutters, boxes of jewelry making stuff, lubes and shop fluids.
And get this, an old safe, and I mean it's super old, it's got what looks like the Revolutionary war USA eagle on it. I couldn't fit it, I'm picking it up next day or two. I'm beat and going to bed, holy hell boys.
That's part of it
