Noticed the holiday sale items are priced differently at different locations. Asked a droid and was told that corporate sets the prices. I have a suspecion that they are set based on sales volume and store sales goals.

To hide how bad it really is..... Why put anything on sale when the cattle are buying at MSRP. If inventory doesn't sell, then they have sales.

The Werner 6FT, Type 1A Fiberglass ladder on page 19 for $59.88 is great deal.

These are nice solid ladders.
I have both the 4' & 6' and paid full price for mine.

I’ve bought both previously on prior Black Fridays. My brother laughed when I took a four foot one to moms. He now uses it all the time. Step stools are scary.

Stop looking for mechanics tools at a home improvement store.

2,574 results for tools on the website after clicking shop the black Friday sales. That's not going to fit on their flyer aimed towards the majority of their customers nowdays.

Majority of unsold items will be sold to liquidators and auctioned and bought by the pallet on resllers on platforms like eBay and Amazon Marketplace

I managed to fit a 26’ multipurpose ladder into a wagon by putting the passenger front seat all the way down

The 8ft Werner fiberglass ladder is too light and not confidence inspiring

Picked up a 5' Werner aluminum step ladder for $30. Nice for those small jobs and light for when the wife wants to use it.

The 18' Gorilla ladder for $100 is a good deal; I own a few of them. They recently had this as a deal of the day a few weeks back, though, so nothing exceptional.

The little scaff platform stepladders are super useful. The past couple of years they've been $25 a pop and now they're double that, and I won't be biting again.

Even the battery/tool BOGO deals are a bit meh this year, but maybe that's because I already own most of what I'm going to need tool-wise from the big box stores and so don't stand to gain much by purchasing on any of these things this year. That's fine, I just dropped a WHOLE lot of money on a CNC mill and some other machinery, so if HD doesn't squeeze me harder it's probably okay.
