MrsLS & I are expecting to have all three LesserDottirs and their LesserDogs (and two boyfriends) in the house this afternoon, so we snuck away to Jake’s flea this morning for some quiet. I figured it would be a minor morning, as it is Saturday (Sunday is best there), there is a WWII Weekend not so far away in Reading, and there are multi-family and community yard sales in several nearby areas (Emmaus, etc).
The contents of the pic resulted from releasing $68 from my wallet, $60 of which went to Bob the Toolman for the Bonney 3/4dr sockets, extension and PH32 point dinging hammer head. He was sticking to his prices today, so I didn’t get them for as little as I wanted, and left behind a torch-burnt 4285 3/4dr Bonney rat, likewise burnt Bonney 4288 hinge/extension and a 1930s Snap-on No460 5/8dr 1-7/16” 6pt.
$8 split to another Jake’s vendor and two garage sales on the way home, netting some masonry bits & screws, deck screws, made in Germany sm perfekt driver, Hinsdale belt adj rat, Goodell wood-handled glass cutter, Shaw&Field spade brace bit, Lufkin no8 rule holder, Snap-on feeler, unmarked inside calipers, Henry G Thompson & Son “Milflex Midget” saw, Red Devil S&H Co linemans, Bonney B17 dikes, Par-X 3/8dr 5/8 socket, Wright Barberton MU-52 4/8dr 1/2uni, hickory hatchet handle, Estwing 16oz rip hammer (with bonus 8’ vinyl tape wound round the stacked leather handle, I guess because one disc had a nip out if it), unmarked putty knife, 6” Channellock slipjoints, three Wizard ignition DOEes, 8” Berylco BECU slipjoints, 3 Millers Falls stubbies.
