For those of you who are looking for a cordless impact wrench, I recommend this 20v Craftsman. Is the best cordless impact? NO. Is it better than Snap-On or Matco? Probably Not. Will it take lug nuts off your pickup or car? Yes it will. It is for the professional? Depends on your definition of professional. Will you be happy with it? I personnally believe 90% of those on GJ would be satisfied with it. What about bang for your buck? Big Bang for not too many bucks.

Check it out here.

My thoughts exactly Travo. I bought one (for considerably more) over two years ago and have been tickled pink with it. However, I have never talked to anyone else who has it.

I dont have one but, I have been in the market to get a bigger one than what I have now. Mine is a Masterforce that does a good job but, it only rated for 100 or so ft lbs. I just wonder because its not new how good they will hold up over time.

I have this same gun. Nice tool. I went from air impact to HF electric impact to craftsman 20v.

Like you, I'm amazed this is the first post I've seen about it. As a person who does basic auto maintenance, it does everything I need it to do.

A few weeks back I went into my nearest sears and noticed all the 20v lithium tools were marked down. Salesperson said the line is being discontinued. Batteries will still be available though. Unknown if they will be making new tools using the same battery though.
