20x20 garage workshop addition

Greetings all,

I had a recent idea of removing the entire roof (hip style) on my 20x20 garage adding to the existing structure for vehicle parking/shop space. The roof is in need of replacement due to random width rafter centers that bows under wet snow loads, questionable top plate, and a sagging mid-roofline.

Thoughts?
