20x20 garage

The concrete is getting poured in a few weeks.

Here is a sketchup of what I plan to build. It will be an all metal frame on the concrete. I am having metal base plates put in the concrete. Once the metal frame is up I was thinking of wrapping it with ½” ply wood with tar paper on top and tyvek on the sides. Then finish the top with a metal roof and the sides with Board and Batten.

The weight of the wood on the top shouldn’t be too much would you think?
The photos of the trusses are 20” high, but will have more pieces inside as this was just a sketchup. Above the trusses are 6” Cee purlins.

Anyway please tell me what you think and if you think I should change something due to safety reasons.

Why do you have wood on the top if you are using a metal roof? I suppose your 20 inches height over 12 ft (incl overhang) enough slope for your area?

20X20 is going to be a tight fit for parking 2 cars. Not much extra room to work or have any storage.

It won't be used for cars. It is on 40 acres and there is nothing there yet so this will be the first building to work from before the big shop or house is built.
