Here is the starting point, I want to :

  • Move everything off the floor
  • Refinish the floor and walls
  • Remove the lower shelving along the side walls
  • Build a new workbench centered on the back wall
  • Add some steel cabinets
  • Make it look cool

Following as your plan is similar to mine. Do your research on floor coatings as I thought I did mine but thought wrong.

I already did my flooring, I did acrylic flake with 3 coats of clear epoxy on top. What did you do? I'll post some flooring pics.

I started cleaning up the walls, and got the floor epoxy finished. Next is to remove the lower shelves and prime all the walls and shelving.

Floor looks great! that's the route I should've went. I used rustoleum rock solid as I liked the look and only came up with good reviews on it. After I bought it and started on it was when I Found the issues!

Well I'm finished for now, waiting on the new garage doors to continue anything else so I can see where the tracks are mounted.

Items done:
Lower shelves and old workbench removed
All sheetrock mudded
Painted two tone (Behr White Metal and Ashphalt Grey trim)
Floor expoxied
Added door trim and painted door
Grey rubber baseboard installed

To do:
New garage doors
8-tire wall rack
New workbench in center of back wall
Wall cabinets?
New LED shop lighting
Garage fridge
