Hi, I am seeking input. Two years ago, I poured a flat concrete slab. Finally, three months ago, I had a steel building with (2) 14x14 garage doors installed. Then, the rain came. And I noticed a small amount of water puddling where the garage door meets the steel building. Attached photo shows where the water puddles at NE corner of structure. Based on what I found online, a 1/2” lip where garage door is seated is needed - I assume to the exterior of both side rails, too. And then, a slope away from garage door. Will there be any issues lowering the garage door by 1/2” (or more)? Will new exterior weatherstrips along the perimeter be needed to accommodate the additional height? Are there any possibilities that water is entering along length of wall rather than just at bottom?
