My electrician friend is advising me on hooking up 220 heat in my garage. He had me buy 40 feet of 8/2 wire and a dual 30 amp (15x2)cb which I have run from the box to the garage ceiling myself. He is coming over to do the hook up. My question is how big a heater can I run with this set up. Im hoping to install a 7.5 kw heater but am not sure if this is over capacity. And are those Princess Auto made in china unit heaters any good? They sure are cheap which concerns me.
