Simple enough for me to throw the breaker. Good call there.

although i love the lockout tagout style - but the open hole at the end of the plug seems to defeat the purpose.

thanks all!

What!😳😳😳! I think you mean 240 volt. Don’t be coming on here and talking that 220volt stuff if you know whats good for you! People out there are listening…..be afraid….be very afraid…….
The plug CLEARLY states 125/250V (exactly as specified by NEMA). Where do you find weird 240V plugs?

I don’t find em anywhere. People on here get upset when one says 110 volt or 220 volt and not 120/240. This has nothing to do with me.

Can you not just keep it up higher than they can reach? If you are worried about them sticking something metal in, do you even have nails/screws lying around also that they can get into? Just seems more likely they would hurt themselves on something else in the shop than find something to shove in the open plug. I would just get a a glove and zip tie it over the plug.

As others have suggested, either turn the breaker off at the panel or install a lockout device on the cord cap!

When I was doing Service Work, we often encountered the “Duty Hero” who not being familiar with Tag Out, we were not locking out breakers. We started disconnecting the wire from the breaker.
