I'm running this Sunday I am confused please advise. The spec sheet says the stripped wire is the nuetral it a 4 gauge that means that the 3 wires left would be hot hot ground. Why would the isolated ground be bigger than the nuetral.

What you want is 2224 MHF.

It can be direct hurried. It can be used inside if in a conduit.

The **** is only USE-2 rated and is not allowed inside. As said it's 3 hots and a neutral which has a yellow stripe.

You bought the wrong wire. Thats for PoCos to feed the service via underground lateral.
You cant use that inside.

Need to go buy the right wire. MHF will work

Should've asked here first.

If the wire is being terminated outside tape the stripe wire ends as green for the ground and one of the blacks ends white for the neutral.

#6 and smaller in conduit can't be reidentified
That doesn't apply to cable because the wire can't be repulled with the correct color.
An example is a white being as a hot wire for use with double pole breaker.
Tray cable is often all black with number sprinted on the wires.....How else would it be identified as a neutral ?
