I just had my foundation poured for a 22x24. I know i made it too small but originally i was thinking of attic space so i stayed with a 6/12 truss with 8ft walls. I havent built the garage yet, i would probably get killed in cost to try and find someone to extend the front and 1 side foundation wall 4 feet each?
The mason who did the 22x24 does not want to extend it for me. If i went with 26 wide - i can only use a 5/12 or maybe a 4/12 because of my average ht restriction of 12 feet. the 22 wide + 8ft wall + 6/12 truss with 15in average grade puts be at 12 feet exactly.
I probably should of said screw attic space, get more floor space especially after reading some posts here! Too bad i didnt find this forum before i poured.
It ***** to have ht restrictions!

What exactly do plan on using this space for? 8' ceilings will only allow for a 7' door.
I understand you have restrictions and I don't suggest fighting with the rules.
