Very nice work, what does a custom made chair run price wise? My wife has her parents dining room table/chairs, not sure if rebuilding them is practical but maybe copying them?

The price varies depending on style and quantity. My chairs start at around 400 and up, quantity helps.Some setups take longer than the operation so of course more pieces can lower the price.
If the furniture you inherited is well made with just loose joints they can be easily repaired, west system epoxy makes a glue syringe, on some repairs all that is needed is drilling a small hole in a hidden part of the joint and injecting epoxy. Or you can take the chair apart, I use a hydraulic bottle jack to push the joints apart. Banging with a mallet usually makes a lot of damage.
