24 volt led for garage lights?

Have access to plenty of some really nice 24 volt power supplies. Looking to swap out my old fluorescents to led. 24x35 garage 8 foot ceiling. Mainly woodworking. Led strips? Or just buy the led garage lights from menards, plug in and go?

Plug N Go lights. LED strips are great for accent lighting, but aren't really appropriate for lighting huge spaces. You want nice diffused light.

I used a bunch of Banner led light strips on a machine before and really liked the results. They were like this:

Cool thing is that you can Daisy chain the power with m12 patch cables. Those things throw out a bunch of light and are made for harsh environments.
