Does anyone make a reasonably priced 240 volt cable reel? I need to move a 240 cable to several temporary locations 60 feet(20 meters). A overhead reel would be a nice alternative but $700+ for one I found in a nautical application is not in the budget. Can a such heavy cable work on a reel? Brand name, web location, links, and reviews welcome.

Some of those cord reals have a very low ampere rating, but they are all expensive.

There are a couple ways to do this but,,, ,,,, a real with a 10 wire is likely but could possibly be done with a 12 depending on the ocpd requirements of the other tools. Some ale limited to specific breakers,, especially if they come with factory cord and plug.

Say I use 10Ga . Cannot machine plugs be switched out to a different plug mate? If not that, different configured adapters? For the reel, only one machine at a time in use.

60' of fairly large cordage on a reel is gonna mean a really large reel.

Does it have to be on a reel?

Why not just drag the cord around the shop?

Loose cable is an option. Not ideal, but would work. Trying to noodle this out. Maybe arranging equipment so wouldn't need all that length. Still like a reel (out of the way) idea if possible though.
