Anyone have experience with the 240 volt heaters?

It appears I can run one for 2-3 bucks over an eight hour period. That to me doesnt seem that bad.

The positive aspect of it for me is no humidity output, no refilling, and fast installation.

I am thinking about a cadet garage heater called the hot one.

Thanks, Joe

They use these to warm the public enterance lobbies at my place of work in the winter. They work very well.

Two guys I work with liked them so much that they each bought one for use in their shops this winter.

I am not sure how 3 phase works. I can wire in a 20 amp 240 V breaker though. I wonder how noisy those are. It looks like it would do the job.

Fostoria makes other models. I don't think they are all 3 phase. Can't imagine the ones my friends have are.... As you mentioned in your first post, there are other brands to consider as well, especially IF all the Fostoria pieces are to heavy duty.

They are pretty quiet I guess. Just the sound of an electric fan running. A whole lot quieter than my kerosene bullet heater, with a pump and fan running, and a big 2 foot long open flame inside raoring away.
