Unless you're deaf, I'm pretty sure you're going to know when your compressor is running without the help of an indicator light :lol_hitti

Dunno... some ppl have it in the sound proof room, some have it in the outhouse for some compressed meeeethane flavored air :lol_hitti, might want to know if the compressor is running running with a remote indicator light. not just on.......... I don't think I read that until it was clarified later. Maybe he wanted both lights for giggles.

I bought a magnetic starter for my compressor. The existing pressure switch controls it with a contact in series on my lighting contactor. Compressor can't run unless lights are on. Same for the electric auto drain valve.
