Hey guys ---
Minnesota and we are in the negative digits for the last two weeks......
Therefore I cannot use my Mitsubishi hyper heat and my electric Cadet Hot One 5000w heater is just not cutting it.
I am guessing that on these weeks of sub zero the only option to get good heat is a propane or gas heater?
I am curious to know are there any propane options that would be DIY or is all of the stuff with gas a hired out job?
DIY meaning about as easy as hooking up a gas grill... guessing not.
I do have a natural gas line in my basement for my fireplace and I don't think it would be too much work to get it into the garage. Of course, that would be a professional job. Just not sure how large of a heater would be needed and how much space would that take up heater including how much space it would need around itself.
I would get rid of the electric heater in lieu of a gas heater.
Just looking for options.....
Good thing is when the temps are in the teens both my current heat sources work good enough for me.
