24x24 garage, How should I do my workbench

Should I do it in front of the cars or on the sides?

on a 24 x 24 I would make it a rolling work bench

keep it stored in the front of the garage

What size of cars are you putting in there? My '77 Chrysler is 18' long. My current garage is only 22' deep. With a tool box at the front, and the car pulled in JUST far enough to close the overhead door, there's barely enough room left to walk in front of the car (about 2'). A workbench at the front would be out of the question for me. Just a thought....

The car I will be working on is a 91 Mustang Coupe. The other two cars are, Nissan Maxima and Nissan Titan (Which will be parked outside.)

I'm thinking of putting the workbench and cabinets on the Maxima side, this will give me a lot for free space to work. Here is the pic of my work in progress.

Sweet Fox!!! Love the DOHC conversion.

If it were me, I'd put the workbench centered on the back wall. That gives you room to work at your bench, and still leaves maximum room in front of each engine bay and on the sides for getting in and out of cars.

Im gonna get rid of my bench, it's in the way and covered with junk. All I ever really use is my roll around tool box. I sure wish I had more floor space for working!
