I have been building a new 600 sq.foot detached garage for the last two weeks in the snow and cold. Its been brutal here in Michigan. Im just waiting for the garage door to come in and then I can start with the inside. Hoping to make it a man cave for me and my 1978 cj7 project that Ive been working on for the last couple of years. Now that I have a home for it...........

I'll try to load some pics, but it wouldnt let me, I'll try to figure it out, but in the mean time I would love to see how you guys finished the inside of your garages.:eyecrazy::mad:

Coldest December I can remember in SE MI and we are only 1/2 way through the month !

We usually have highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s this time of year. I don't think it has been above freezing for a week.

After the door is on, things will probably wait till spring before any thing else is done, getting a new hip in January. That will put a slow "hitch in my gittyup" for a while.

Love that pic of the empty shop with the chair and heat source. I'm sure it's a great feeling to be sitting in your shop!

sure is, its still a little cold but its my "get away from the world hide out"
I keep looking at how everyone else finishes the insides, and my plans keep changing. I'm going to build a work bench this weekend.
